The electric drive is much quieter and easier to control than a gas trimmer. It’s light, you can pulse the trigger to scalp individual weeds. If you notice, all the bad reviews refer to the line breaking. I loaded it with a good quality replacement line and it lasts a long time. The cord lock feature keeps it connected with no hassle. Weed Workhorse!

This little weed trimmer is a workhorse, it's very light and gets the job done! Dragging around the cord isn't a big deal considering the ease of handling and it's ability to do the job. I cut several lawns a week for my elderly neighbors. This little giant has never let me down!

insist on selling worthless crap. Save your money, don't waste it on these maggots at Black and Decker. You can take a number two and have the same thing! Unbelievable!

Perfect bump-feed trimmer

Exactly what I needed. Works perfect. Did not want noisy gas-powered trimmer, and auto-feed doesn't work for my chain-link fence trim (would use too much string).

Lightweight and easy to use

I needed a lightweight trimmer that didn’t require gas or batteries for my small yard. It’s powerful enough to trim down monkey grass to give it a fresh start in spring. It works fine on edging Bermuda grass. The Black and Decker 3.5 Amp 12 inch corded trimmer was easy to assemble and doesn’t take up a lot of space to store.

Basic garden tool.

I've used this basic electric trimmer for years. Now it has the advanced feature of being able to rotate the body for edge trimming which relieves the strain on my wrists when trying to hold it. Powerful enough to cut through most items, the only limits are how long a electric cord you use !

So easy to use

I recently had shoulder surgery a few months ago, and cannot handle the vibrations fron my gas powered weedeater. This was on clearance, so I decided to give it a try. I am able to use this one with no problems. I love it

59yo first time weed whacking!

owned about a year, always husband did it before. he's out of town extended and I did it! woo hoo! but I can't get the guard thing to shift from one side to the other for edging vs trimming. no problem. I'm still managing. woo hoo!

Good light weight trimmer

No gas to fill, no smell, no toxic air, good enough for the yard work.

Black + Decker trimmer

This is a lightweight trimmer, due to its being corded, and does a great job. It has lots of power. The price cannot be beat. I much prefer this to a cordless, heavy and imbalanced trimmer.

Bought this same model from Lowe's TEN years ago & loved it! When I had to replace it, there was no doubt in my mind I wanted the same model. I was thrilled to find I could still get it! Lowe's is the greatest!!

Dog pen issue

Bought this trimmer to cut dog pen that mower couldn't fit through gate! Cut great and was perfect for the job!
