I am your best customer!

I am a 75 year old woman and love the trimmer. It is ergonomically correct for my height, 5’6” and I use it almost daily. It permits me to create and maintain the many curves defining my10 acres in the Pacific Northwest. In my recent purchase I bought two 12” trimmers so I can do more work in one day without overworking one trimmer.

Love my weed eater but hate that the battery life!

The battery life stinks, only 10 minutes! I have Battery from 2016 that is only a 1.5 AmpH that last longer! The 2.0 AmpH you sent with it stinks! Love the weed eater! This is our 2nd one. First one lasted 8 years and stopped feeding line.

Replacement

After more than 5 years of use my B&D trimmer was showing signs of fatigue. So, I replaced it with the same style before the old one died. I am happy with the B&D units, plus, now I have extra batteries.

THE PERFECT WEED EATER

Performance is there 6 stars if you asked me? Why? it cuts and edges no gas no 2 cycle oil needed light weight. Dont sleep on this one I had one similar to this black n decker lasted me 6 plus years. Is there a take away? Not really. I would suggest getting an extra battery. I absolutely love it!!! Im speaking from personal experience. Oh dont let me forget the push button string auto feeder.

Works great, love the wheel, it’s a workhorse and get’s the job done.

Product broken.

Product is broken. The plastic piece where the "edger" wheel should attach is broken. Warning: Know that Lowe's will not take a return on this product after the box is open.

Good Choices

You get a much better product selection when you order on-line. Often your garden/lawn supply store only stocks a few SKU's in trimmers whereas if you order on-line, you get the size and price that you need. I trust Black & Decker's quality and convenience of ordering.

Five-cent spring breaks the whole unit

This line trimmer works OK for what it is, but a MAJOR warning on this tool. There is a small spring in the trimmer head that maintains the alignment and action of the lever assembly (really just a piece of molded plastic). When this spring goes bad (and it will, it failed on TWO B&D line trimmers) you will NOT be able to get a replacement one. B&D has decided it is better to force you to buy a new trimmer, and to toss the old one into the toxic waste pile.

Hard to switch to edging(older model was easier) when you push auto feed button it shuts off

Overall great product for the price

Love the fact that it’s multi functional but the charge doesn’t last long
