Ratings & Reviews for Backyard Discovery Skyfort II Residential Wood Playset

So much room for activities!

We purchased this unit in December of ‘22. It has been amazing. We have had picnics, pirate battles, princess rescues, and zombie defenses to name a few. I was worried about how it would hold up but it has been amazing and even supported me in areas I could barely fit.

Skyfort II Playset

Kids like this unit, they enjoy and that's what counts. Took 3 hours to inventory all the boxes and lay out, recommend paying to have this installed if you have the extra 700-900 dollars. However, they were 4 weeks out to schedule, so I put it together with my wife and friend. Recommend icing down a few cases of beer before starting. I set up a tent over a picnic table that held all the hardware and 131 page instruction booklet. Make sure to use the star bit that comes with the unit so bo...

Good for the money

Product is generally good for the price. There was. Significant number of manufacturing issues specifically around the hardware. Needed to fix the threads on a few bolts and have others replaced. The wood is also questionable. A lot of knots resulting in breaking during assembly. Customer service was great and final product is sturdy which keeps it at 4 rather than 3.

Es perfecto para los niños

fácil de armar y muy seguro

My twin daughters love it

I bought this 8 months ago it’s been great for my daughters they spend hours playing on it no issues. Instructions are easy to follow. Comes with everything you need

Awesome playset! Many of hours of fun!

This was a gift to our son for his birthday (and several birthdays to follow. We assembled it over the majority of two days with only minor issues. It has been up for 3 days now and our son has spent hours of playing on it.

Good variety

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it last year, kids love it call it their tree house. Bit of a pain putting it together, did it myself. Understand why some people pay to have it done.

Grandkids love this amazing play set

I did lots of research to find a play set that had all of the features I wanted for my grandsons. This one fit all of my requirements! Fortunately my son-in-law is very handy. He had some assistance from friends with the initial structure then completed by himself. Instructions were detailed and accurate. We LOVE it!

Just Great

Purchased this for our 3 year old to grow with. Assembly was straightforward and as expected. We had a few issues with some splintered pieces from transportation, but the company was quick to replace them. We sealed the swing set per the recommendation and it’s looking great a year later even in the tough New England climate. Will enjoy for years to come.

Epic playset

Takes an enormous amount of time to assemble but in why end it is worth it- it is epic!

Great product

Bought this for my 9 and 2 yr old and they love it. There was a lot to assembly but it was really simple if you follow directions. I recommend

Great club house and playset

Purchased for our toddlers (aged 1 & 3) for Christmas hoping it would grow with them for years. My husband and I assembled ourselves to save the assembly charge. There instructions were clear and’s mostly easy to follow. Many of the boards were not well marked and difficult to identify. After the first few days of assembly (we did this on combined work breaks, spending a few hours here and there), we ended up sporting the pieces by step (hardware and wood required step by step) and that made ass...

Looks Great!

Purchased this playset from Sam’s and from purchase to set up was perfect. Playset delivered and installed within 2 weeks of Christmas with no issues. The techs even replaced a broken piece without me having to do anything! Kids enjoy playing on the set just wish it had a 2 person glider instead of the handle bars and it is smaller than the picture but overall a great purchase with no regrets,

Great Value!

This is so much material, direction, and structure for the price! My husband is currently building it, and it will take a while. I will update my review when it is finished, but we are very excited about the project!

A great investment to get your kids outside

My parents and I coordinated the purchase of the Skyfort II for my three kids (10, 7, and 5) this past Christmas. Best purchase ever. Even in less than great weather, my kids are clamoring to get outside. That’s right it’s 2023 and my kids want to be outside. My 10 year old is pushing 80 pounds and this equipment is holding firm under his weight on the swing. It’s held up against much larger kids as well. There is no or only barely noticeable twisting or buckling that I had seen on some of our e...

Great value

I bought this six months ago and my kids 6 and 3 both love it! It was surprisingly easy to put together. Feels solid and has so much for both ages to do. They love the slide and the “club house” and the lookout. The oldest loves the monkey bars.

Just what we hoped for

We really wanted a playset that had swings and monkey bars, so we were glad we found this one! It’s been great so far, took a couple days to assemble but the kids love it and it seems like it will be great for years to come.

Hours of Fun!

I bought this about a year ago and my son couldn’t wait to play. He loves all of the features. He can’t wait to get out and play each day.
