Ratings & Reviews for Backyard Discovery Skyfort II Residential Wood Playset

Nice playground set

Built this by myself. Took about 32 hours to assemble but the instructions were easy to follow. Kind of a pain to find the pieces in each box as some are in box 1,,2,3 for one step but all in all went well and seems to be a really nice playground set

Feeling worried

I’m not sure how this is going to hold up. Some of the boards are already splitting and we are not done putting it together. For the price I thought this would be better.

Great Unit Organization Everything best Advice

I purchased this around a month ago, and have been pleased with almost everything. I am still in final assembly as only can commit short time to build. First separating all the hardware and pieces into organized piles was best thing I did. That’s hard to admit as I just wanted to jump into project but much smoother with all laid out. I would recommend when doing the second floor and above I see how important to put the bolts in place on level ground before installing on second floor. The next pa...

Grandkids In Heaven

Perfect swing set for the grandkids to explore and play on !

Awesome Swing Set!

We purchased this swing set for our great grandchildren and they love it! Very well constructed and is great for children of different ages.

Awesome playset except for the slide -cheap/flimsy

Its a great playset, except for the slide. All the other items/material are great quality but the slide is a cheap and flimsy that even for my 25lb child it squeezes in when she slides down. The slide also gets very hot. The directions were very easy to follow. We were not missing any pieces and looks very nice.

Skyfort 2 is Fantastic

This app is absolutely awesome for building your structure! The ability to move and rotate the picture so you can see it from every angle s absolutely fantastic!!!!!!! It would have been so much harder to build the structure with just the paper book, especially because the paper instructions actually missed an entire section! The Skyfort 2 is also huge especially compared to our last play structure! It’s all around fantastic! I guess we’ll see what its longevity is like!

Not a fast assembly but worth it.

Not a fast assembly but worth it. I hired an experienced installer so I could have it complete before summer’s over. The 20 labor hour estimate may not include the prep needed before actual assembly. 1. Unbox and place all pieces in order by item number. 2. Re-label all nuts, bolts, screws, and washer bags with larger print to see from a distance. 3. Use the directions that come with the set. Online versions may not match.

High Quality

High quality well made top of the line swing set. The kids love it. With all the different features and size of the swing set they will use this for years to come. Assembly requires some time and effort but it is worth it.

Sky Fort II

We love our new backyard place set. It took longer than 20 hours for two people. It was more like 40 hours. Wish they would tell you On each direction page which box that piece or Hardware was in.

Wish we had this when we were kids

We're so glad we picked this swing set! We're very impressed with the quality of the materials and our kid is smitten. We're just happy to see him have such an awesome space of his own that beckons him to play outside. We have woods so we did do some grading and installed a platform for soft ground.

Great playset!

My two boys love this product. The instructions were very good, but it did take a while to assemble. It is very sturdy and the lumber seems to be high quality.

Sturdy and strong great for bigger kids as well

Bought this in May to replace our last swingset we’d had for 8 years. I needed an upgrade that would hopefully last 8+ years again and accommodate a wide age range of 13, 9, 7 and 4 as well as allow them to explore a variety of play. After months of looking this kept coming back as the best fit for our family. It’s been officially “installed” for a few weeks and so far the kids have absolutely loved it. They each can use it however they want without being in each others space. They can have frie...

Kids love it

Kids love it. Mega swingset. Takes some time To build, but instructions are pretty clear and easy to follow. Quality material.

Great purchase!

Easy-to-follow instructions for installation. It takes two full days for a two-person crew to install, but the instructions are very simple to follow. The kids love the slide and monkey bars. The overall quality of each piece is great for residential use.

Great set for many children to play at once!

We've had this set for about a month. Our kids love it and have spent many hours playing. We chose this particular set for the monkey bars and 3 levels of play. Perfect for multiple kids.

Cool Playset for long term use

All of the pieces are labeled by letter and number. Before assembly we found it helpful to lay out all the pieces by number and letter. This package came in 4 boxes so it will take a day to get everything organized. It also helps to organize all the fasteners in order as well, keep all the fasteners in the packages and just use what you need for that step. The directions were pretty clear and we ended up with no left over wood and plenty of extra fasteners. We over drilled a few of the pilot ho...

Years of fun to come!

We bought this a few weeks and our kids are loving it! It definitely took some time to put together but we did it as a family and couldn't be happier with the results

So much variety of play

We have had this playset for a month or so and we absolutely love it! Our toddler has been wanting a big girl playset and she finally has it. And is obsessed. We put together ourselves and it took a couple days. Instructions were mostly clear, just tedious. Overall great purchase!

Monkey bars for the win!

We bought this for our kids early this spring and they have been playing almost everyday. The monkey bars were the biggest selling point for us. The team was easy to work with and did a great job installing. We are very happy with our choice!
