Ratings & Reviews for Backyard Discovery Skyfort II Residential Wood Playset

Awesome Play Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this over the summer and have been loving it! It’s well made and looks nice in our yard. Our son comes home from school and runs straight to it most days!

It's okay but kind of rickety

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's okay but I'm disappointed in the quality vs the cost. The structure is rickety and the wood is very thin, non-standard sizes. We used their installer and many of the pieces were installed upside down so there are part number stamps all over, the wood is already splitting or peeling in multiple places after one summer, and many screws were overtightened and are stripped out. Also, no shielding along the bottom edges so the finish is coming ...

Great for little children!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago and my granddaughter loves it!

Great fort!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [Employee of backyarddiscovery] This fort has great directions and goes together easily with some time invested. The wood is a little fragile in some spots but a good buy overall!

Kids love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Husband and I bought this and put together ourselves(easy with directions but time consuming) for our girls 8 & 4. They loved it and have so much fun imagining all sorts of adventures in the fort or sandbox! Highly recommend

Very nice for the cost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this midsummer, little bit of work getting it together but all in all it went very well lots of extra parts just in case they were bolt problems. Even came earlier than expected.

Kid love it. Great space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this for the grands and they absolutely love it.

Great product and value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my kids and put it together myself with help of another. I felt the price was good for all that you got. Assembly was challenging, but they made it easy with everything labeled and an inventory sheet in each box. The kids really like all the features. We'll see how it holds up.

Turned out great, some pieces were not

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this set earlier this year and its awesome! It looks great, the kids love it. However there was an obscene amount of different hardware that absolutely could have been more standardized rather than having 30 kinds of screws, 30 kinds of bolts. Assembly is not at all user friendly because of this. You spend 3/4 of the time trying to find the right pieces for each step. Also, it took enough time sorting all the pieces, wood and hardware,...

Absolutely love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this for our daughters birthday and she cannot stop playing on it. All the parts came with the order and it was easy to assemble, just took some time. High quality product that will bring years of memories!

Fabulous product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a smaller swing set with this and are thrilled with it! Our granddaughters love it! It was not difficult to put together as it has thorough instructions. The variety of swings, the slide, the climbing wall and so much more makes it to be so fun for the grands. We love that the slide is one piece. We are very pleased with it and can't wait to have years of memories made on it!

Looked for backyard fun for 5-10 years, found it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Grandkids were very excited when the boxes arrived from the big truck earlier than expected. All the boards were clearly marked, separation began. Grandkids were eagerly to help 2 adults put it together in 2 days because rain postponed a half day. Everyone Loves it. Neighbors stopped by and gave many compliments.

Plenty of play

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this in the spring and my kids have really enjoyed it all summer. We’ve got 5 kids, and there is something for everyone to do, with plenty of space to play.

Difficult start, but happy ending

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to fulfill my own childhood dream of getting this for my son. I always dreamed of getting a playset like this when I was a child, but was never able to. So I got this for my son. It took about 3 days for my husband and I to put together (FYI he’s a mechanic and familiar with power tools and following instructions). It came in 4 boxes, and the pieces were not organized at all. I had to act an inventory person collecting all necessary ...

Main Attraction!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Big hit with family, especially little ones who love all the features. Teenagers & adults within weight limits love the Skyfort as well! Bought a baby swing to swap out when our family babies come to visit so everyone gets to enjoy it 😁

Great playset overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wonderful playset.

Slide

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this for our grandchildren and they love to play on it! Ages 8 and 2 1/2. We did seal off the monkey bars so our little one doesn't fall off. The 8 year old can still access the bars from the other end. Love this set and so do our grandkids!

Best birthday present!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my three little boys birthday present and it has been a hit ever since!

High quality, rugged set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set was purchased a month ago and my husband put it up by himself in 2 long weekends. It's the best mix of physical and playhouse and our 2 girls (nearly 5 and 7) love it!

great product

This was OK to put together. Put it together all by myself took three days. On the third day I finally organized all of the Nuts and bolts by page that helped a lot. Also, the boards that go straight on the second level really need to be drilled better.
