Ratings & Reviews for Architectural Mailboxes Centennial Metal Extra Large Mailbox Gray

Nice looking, needs extra hardware

Nice looking box, a little different from the standard and large enough to accommodate packages too large to fit into standard box. Like others I found that the necessary mounting hardware was NOT included (it did say that on the box but I did not realize that after spending an hour in the store looking at other boxes that stated all hardware included), apparently the hardware is included when your buy the same brand of mounting post (obviously I did not). I like the handle on the front but kne...

Good product poor delivery

They delivered it to the wrong address. We are 425 and it was left on the porch at 427 which is a new house with no residents!

Very Nice Mailbox

Love the piece itself and that it is extra large. However, the hardware necessary to install the mailbox was missing. Even though it states it was supposed to be included.

The great mailbox

I was replacing a mailbox that got hit. The post wasn’t damaged, but the box was and this is perfect. I like the wider width and height, and the fact it has a handle instead of the metal pull.

Great mailbox

I like the fact that it’s very large so the mailman can leave packages in it

Metal Mail Box

Install mailbox same day as it was delivered. No problems at all with the installation. Seems to be be well built. Pricing was just a little higher than expected, hopefully it will be better than the plastic box I replaced.

Love my new XL mailbox.

It’s definitely a lot larger than our previous (standard size) mailbox, but once installed it looked great! I’m sure our mail person will appreciate being able to fit small/medium packages in the mailbox instead of having to go to the front door. The mailbox is well made and stylish.

Legit large metal mailbox.

I love the color, the size and the service provided. It is true to what my screen showed as a color. I had a normal mailbox and wanted something alittle bigger for the puffy envelopes and this is definitely bigger than a normal box!! I read other reviews in about dents and screws.. it’s 2024 - everything’s made cheap: the dents dent back and/or in a noticeable area and the screws are definitely replaceable.

No Mounting Bracket Sold Separately

Great but you need to make your own mount adapter

Well built but should be as deep as regular box.

Empty box

I received a taped box but was empty, no mailbox, nothing in it but a plastic shipping pillow.!

Don’t buy this

Cheaply made- barely held together Parts missing

Mailman approved!

Good quality mailbox. My mailman loves it. Most small packages will fit inside saving him many trips up my driveway to the house.

This one is truly big.

This is a truly huge mailbox. While we chose it because of this, we did not fully comprehend the size of it. We are having a stone mailbox surround built and wanted a large box, but this one was a box too far. Have a good idea of its size before you order it.
