This is perfect for the rug we purchased. It really is thick enough that it helps reduce the noise and adds a nice padding. We are very pleased with it.

RUG PAD THAT WORKS ON CARPET!!!
Would RecommendFINALLY!!! We have tried everything to hold an area rug in place on top of our carpet...AND THIS ACTUALLY WORKS!!! Every other method we have tried, the area rug would eventually buckle and get creases in it under the furniture that was on top!!! So FRUSTRATING, but thanks to a YouTube video, and a very knowledgeable sales person Liza at Lowe's, are troubles were solved with this EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!!! We will be buying more for the rest of our rugs ASAP!!

easy pick up, fit in the car. same width as rug, length a bit longer, must cut to fit. which is on purpose. rug does not move! very happy. feels good when walking on the rug. very nice.
