Leaked badly
Would Not RecommendI put this onto an outside faucet to replace a plastic one I had used for years with no problem. As soon as I turned on the water this splitter started badly leaking water where the screw on piece meets the body. I replaced the washer but still had the same problem. Badly leaked with both sides closed but still leaked with one side fully open. Returned and bought a plastic one that didn’t leak.

Perfect replacement
Would RecommendOur old T-adapter was leaking like a seize at the faucet it was attached to even after having replaced the gasket. Since we needed a second T-adapter we swapped out the old for the new....no more leaks. Made us want another one for the garden faucet. Worked better than anticipated & much easier to get onto the faucet.

Would RecommendGood split to be used at the hydrant. I’ve had one before and left it out during the winter. A little water was in it and when it froze, it broke the connecting coupling. Not the manufacturers fault. Solid otherwise!
