Really like this lock. It was super easy to install and setup the software. Overall it looks nice on the outside. Easy to navigate the yale interface on the lock. August was pretty easy to setup and control remotely.

Easy lock installation, but confusing August setup. Still works well!

This product has two parts - lock from Yale and module/hub from August. Switching out the Yale lock was easy and simple, by just following the video instructions. The August module and hub setup is slightly confusing but can be achieved by following the August app instructions closely. For me most confusing was the module registration. Great for Rental

We purchased this lock for one of our rental condos at the beach. This model does very well holding up against the corrosion of the beach. Mother nature will always win but this one definitely puts up a good fight! Highly recommend!

This lock had some reviews that concerned me but…

This lock had some reviews that concerned me but it has the features I was looking for so I ordered it. Install of the lock was a piece of cake, but the bridge and connection to August took me awhile to figure out, but I did not have to call for support. I think the directions for connecting lock to August could have been a little better. Alexa integration was easy. The product works great, much faster and more dependable than the other one I had, even from 400 miles away.

Great lock but includes incorrect app instruction card.

App instruction card is incorrect. The Yale Access app does not list this lock on their setup: You need to use the August App and select “Connected by August” to set this up.

Love Love Love this lock

I absolutely love this smart lock. I moved my other August lock to the back door and I use this one on the front door. I love that this one allows me to have a keypad while still leaving me with a keyed entry and smart phone access. Compatible with everything smart.

Awesome smart lock

I really like the lock for it being smart and unlocking on its own when we are in the vicinity or locking itself after 2 minutes. I must say though they could do a much better job with the installation. For instance, it didn’t even say which app did we have to download and start using to operate these automated functions. It took us a lot of YouTube videos that we had to find ourselves to figure it out.

Not so easy to install but me and my husband was able to figure it out after 2 hours. I like how I can change the pin from the app and history shows if door is open or locked.

The software part of the lock is not perfect at all and is buggy. But this isn’t Yale’s fault. All their features work flawlessly and is a very solid lock. August needs to do some software work to make this whole package 100% awesome. They have great concepts and when they work, they are awesome. Looking forward to future software updates. Would I buy this again. Yes I would. But just expect some bugs here and there with the smart house interface. I use Alexa to control all my house hold stuff....

Great purchase

This was a great purchase, easy to install even if you are the least bit handy. Set up and programming was easy and using the app has been great. Love that I can set days and times to let dog walker / cleaning people in the house. The quality of the dead bolt is good . Used a different plate and the included extra long screws for added security. Downside ... it’s pricey but after about a month of use we are very satisfied and highly recommend.

Easy to install and works well

This product was relatively simple to install and is easy to operate. Well build, modern design, easily integrates with Alexa. It is very convenient for keyless and fast home entry. Allows to create codes and also provides for 1-time access. With everyone having their own code, I know who enters through the app notifications. Overall I am pleased with this product.

user friendly

First off Im a mid 30s woman and I installed this by myself in about 15 minutes. Its not hard to do and it is very plausible to be able to do this yourself in short amount of time. 1. It is ran off 4 AA batteries. If you look at the picture (the first one), the plate above the turn lock comes off and that is where the batteries are housed. If the batteries die at any point, you can still enter with the key set that comes with the lock so you are never truly locked out. 2. It is a bit tric...

Ok but not great.

I’ve used a variety of digital locks and this one is ok. The primary thing that bothers me is that you have to enter the code and hit the check button at the end which just seems like an unnecessary step. Many other comprable products simply unlock after the correct code is entered which would be preferable, but fine let’s put that aside.
