Great Tiller
Would RecommendGot it delivered today. It starts easy, and purrs like a kitten. Easy to handle in rough terrain. I like the fact that you can shift from reverse to forward tine rotation. I would highly recommend this tiller.
Best Rear Tine Tiller For The Money
Would RecommendI was looking for the best buy of a rear tine tiller and came across the Dr Power Modal "PRO XLDRT" While i am a die hard Dr Power Fan i came across this yardmax rear tine tiller and compared them and it was virtually the same identical product with a different name. Well never the less it works prefect
Excellent Tiller
Would RecommendEasy to assemble. Starts on first pull. Great job on tilling my garden. Like being able to walk on either side and reverse blades for hard soil. Also nice that tines can be turned off when moving the tiller.
love this tiller
Would RecommendReceived tiller in good packaging. Easy assembly, took about 30 minutes. Oiled and gassed, then started with one pull. Took it out in the garden and it worked great. So much easier than my old front tine model.
Better than I expected
Would RecommendI was skeptical about buying a Yardmax tiller since I had been using a Craftsman tiller for 15 years. I had never heard of Yardmax, but I couldn't find a Craftsman that had the type of tiller tines I wanted and the YT4565 had them. Took about 1 hour to unpackage and assemble, really easy. Cranked on the first pull and worked like a champ. It tilled a lot deeper than I expected on the hard ground in my garden. Don't know how will hold up over the long haul, but very pleased so far.

Smooth Runing Tiller
Would RecommendTiller arrived without a scratch on the cardboard box or contents. It was well packaged shipment. Easy to assemble. Putting in oil was a small challenge and due to the motor having some oil inside, I spilled some on the tiller. It is really not empty of oil. Tiller started on first pull. I have used about 6 hours and the motor ran without any problems. It took me a while to adjust the depth and drag, but one I did that it did a great job. Since it has the drive forward and reverse, it is...
One time Pull
Would RecommendReceived my tiller and as soon as I approached my Garden I pulled and it started right up. Just one (1) pull!!!! I love this tiller .. works great. I recommend this tiller to everyone. Third day, wanted to till the rest of the Garden, guess what? One pull, it started right up!
Stopped working right away.
Would Not RecommendI bought this for my home garden. The ground was already worked up & I was going over loose soil when the wheels & tines stopped moving & it started squealing (like the belt was just spinning). It would slowly start moving again for a little while and then do the same thing again. So disappointed that I have to return it and find something that works. Also, when I ordered it the delivery people called the day before delivery and asked if I had a way to get it off the truck. Apparently they ...
real nice tiller
Would Recommendi got to say it was pretty easy to put together it was real easy to till with and it digs pretty deep with no problems only drawback i would say is the muffler could be better it is pretty loud
Loose parts got caught in tines, broken
Would Not RecommendI bought in Nov from Lowes, started it up last weekend and made only one pass, and side cover screw must have falled off, it got caught in tines, engine smoking, took off the cover and kept going, I figured what the heck. Made one full perimeter pass and engine again smoking. The front cover got caught in tines. Took that off also, and tried to keep going. Made it about 15 feet and then tines and wheels not turning. I have been trying to get Messaged Yardmax to contact me, nothing! I gave 2 star...

For the price...
Would RecommendExcellent tiller for the price. Quick delivery, no damage, easy assembly, one pull start. It's not a big commercial unit, don't expect it to be. Got three tanks through, no issues.
It tills alright but the throttle is cheap and you constantly have to hold on to the throttle to keep It from decelerating on you and i feel like its going to break at anytime. It sounds horrible when tilling like it going to die on me or something...kinda sounds like a muscle car at idle with an oversized cam.
First of all the ground is still too wet to till so I will update later. Shipping and delivery was out standing. The machine was well packed. Located the parts bags and set them aside until unpacking was finished. By the way, I did receive oil with it. Follow the instructions and you will not have any problems. It started on the second pull and ran like a charm. The only real complaint is the oil funnel. A flexible line would work a lot better than a solid one.
Good Tiller for a Good Price
Would RecommendPicked up the tiller and was ready to use in less than 30 minutes. Easy to assemble and start. I like that you can use the transmission without engaging the tines. Makes it much easier to move without it trying to dig in. I expect to get a lot of use from this tiller and would recommend it.
The new guy
Would RecommendEasy to put together and use.
Great tiller. I wish for a slower forward speed option. The reversing tines are wonderful for the initial spring soil preparation.
