Would Not RecommendBought 2. EXACTLY per reviews, JUNK. They turn on at dart and go off in few seconds - ALL NIGHT - on and off. BOTH UNITS. WHAT A BOTHER to climb up and take down and take BACK, ALWAYS ALWAYS READ FIRST!!!! AND OBVIOUSLY LOWE'S DOES NOT READ THESE or they would have pulled the product.

Would Not RecommendBought for fluorescent bulb outdoors. For security and energy savings. Caused fluorescent bulbs to turn off and on about every minute, non-stop. Works on incandescents but is fairly warm, even during day when bulb is off, which tells me that it's wasting energy.

Defective product
Would Not RecommendI purchased 3 of these. The installation was a breeze. However, they did not work properly since the beginning. Started flickering after a few days, then would not even turn on at dusk. Sometimes they would just stay on all day. When I finally gave up and decided to remove them, I noticed the dark spot on the sensor.

SIMPLY DID NOT WORK
Would Not RecommendTried using them in my east facing front porch lights which have clear glass covers. There is no way to adjust the sensor so that it actually will face TOWARD the sun. Screwed in securely, one sensor faced the wall, the other was at 90 degrees to the sun. On a moderately cloudy day, the light stayed on all day. Returned immediately. Worthless. Would have rated it "0" if that was possible.

Disappointed in photocell socket
Would RecommendBought two of these for outdoor lights on each side of my garage door, cheaper than buying new fixtures with built in photocell. First problem is they keep coming on then going off continuously. Installed the cap over the photocell, still had problem. Switched to a dimmer bulb, which fixed one of the lights. Don’t waste your money or time

Doesn't work - cycles on and off constantly
Would Not RecommendBought this to use in outdoor pole light. Will not work. It constantly cycles on and off after dark. Even if you use the attached shades for the sensor it will not work. After having issues I read the reviews and found this is a common issue with this item. Lowes shouldn't sell it. I am returning it to buy the AmerTac screw in sensor which has better reviews. Hope it works!

Terrible product
Would Not RecommendPurchased after the one I had for many years finally went bad. With this one the light goes on for 50 seconds and off for 30 seconds. I tried different bulbs. Lowes needs tp get rid of this product.
