Constantly flickered off and on

I purchased 2 of these and both worked poorly, in different sockets and using different bulbs. They would not stay on when sun set, just would pop on for a few minutes and then off for a few. Returning these items

Don't Toss that receipt

Purchased two for my back porch. Upon installation with LED bulbs, they would shut of after about 3 minutes maximum. Mind you, the fixtures are ~15" apart. Orienting the sensors away from the light source made no difference. Using a spring-loaded contact to enable different orientations is dubious at best. I would only recommend these to someone I didn't like as I value the friends I have. A first year electronics student or even a hobbyist could come up with something much better and more r...

Light sensor

Terribly intermittent. Stays off more than it stays on which is not what I need. Will be returning it.

I wish I had read the reviews of this product before I purchased two for my garage. Like all the other reviews, the lights cycled on-off all night. I noticed the vendor responded to reviews by suggesting people call them. Why don't you post a resolution to the prevalent problem unless you know no answer exists. This was a complete waste of money.

Not for white or frosted glass fixtures!!!

Although there is no mention of this limitation well known to the manufacturer, this item does not work in fixtures having other than clear glass. Unless the fixture glass is clear (or absent), the device turns the light on and off every 60 seconds from dusk until dawn. Unfortunately I purchased this item in the store before reading the reviews that document this longstanding problem. Operational constraints are OK, but packaging and online overviews should mention them.

Cheap, and not worth it

This photocell looked promising, with three differently-sized beveled tubes that control the amount of light the photo sensor detects. When the sun went down and it was sufficiently dark, it worked for one minute. The light came one. Then, after a minute, it turned off. Then, after a minute, it turned on. Then, after a minute, it turned off. Ad infinitum. Get the picture? I tried the longest tube, then even taped the longest and the shortest together, making an even longer one. Same res...

Bad Product

I bought this item as I didn't want to replace my lights with a motion detection system. the instructions do not list the 3 tube types or their purpose. I tried all settings. Needless to say, the lights flickered on and off all night. I changed to a longer tube and the light stayed on during the day, not what I wanted. regardless of the settings, it did not work correctly. I do not recommend this product.

The socket came with 3 small tube attachments that I am assuming are for the light sensor. But there are no instructions explaining them.
