great but noisy

The washer, or more so the compartment that holds the detergent and softener is VERY loud.. turn the TV up kind of loud.. but only when it's just sending water to the detergent, or releasing the softener. One other slightly annoying issue is the softener part always holds about 2 tablespoons of water, according to the manual that's norm...
