Whirlpool washing machine review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this item on black Friday and it's working great. My previous one was a smile one from Whirlpool and had it for about 14 years. Because I had such a great experience with Whirlpool, I decided to buy the same brand this time. I didn't buy a dryer because it's still working fine and I plan to buy the same one when I have to buy a new one. I am very satisfied about my purchase and I would highly recommend this washer to other people.

Going on the 4th replacement

Bought this Whirlpool Duet set at Lowes in Tacoma on 9/13/16. Got the first one delivered and it quit first load. It washed the first load then went into a LOUD transition to spin then gave an Error Code and door would not unlock and washer quit. Lowes Manager replaced it with a second one and took the defective one away. Same thing but this time it washed 3 loads before doing it. Manager changed it out again and we hoped 3rd one would be the charm. Third one ran for a month several loads... the...

Improved over the 2013 duet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only had this washer 10 days so I haven't had the need to use all the new features. (That is why I only gave it 4 stars). I have been pleased with a definite improvement in the drainage at the end of the cycle leaving only dampness in the seal area rather than a small puddle of water, the normal cycle is about 12-15 minutes shorter and the clothes are very clean and only damp which also shortens the drying time. Yes,there is some noise...

Parents dream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love, love, love my washer!! No more laundry on the teenagers floors! The large capacity allows them to do one giant load and the ease of use means they aren't asking mom a million questions. Did I forget to mention the lower water bill? If only whirlpool could shorten their showers ;).

Great machine

Have found the new features better than the one's on the old Duet. I expect to get the 14 years of flawless service from the new machine that I got from the old. By the way nothing says it better then AMERICAN MADE which it is. One other note old machine never needed repair service. Thanks Whirlpool

Great washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this 2 weeks ago, and it's working great! It's not the quietest, but I have a door on my laundry room so I don't mind. A normal load takes 45 minutes, which is half the time of the old front loader I replaced! I also love that this model shows you a digital read out of how many minutes remain in the cycle. The ability to pause it and add a garment shortly after starting the load is also nice.

Leaked water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bout this washer and the first time I used it it leaked water from inside the machine. Had diamond repair come out for warranty repair and was told it was fixed. Ran a load of wash and water again leaked from washer. Returned the washer to the place we purchased it.

Features

Very nice, a great replacement for the old set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Couldn't wait until I could purchase this to replace an old stack set. Super quiet and really gets the clothes barely damp when done spinning. I am sure it will be a great money saver.

Front Load Washer with Steam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have only used the washer a few times. Noticed that the loads that I use to do in an older Whirlpoo front load washer now take longer in the new front load washer. Haven't used the steam option as of yet, so I cannot rate it. Seems to operate fine for my needs of doing laundry for one person.
