Out of all the American made appliances that we bought for our new home, only Whirlpool has had no issues and worked correctly right out of the box. Love the Load & Go feature and ease of use.

1st front load washer

Bought both washer and dryer 3 weeks ago. Had to have service come back out to fix horrible rattle in dryer. Apparently a screw wasn't tightened on the inside housing. Both work very well and I am satisfied with how well the washer uses so much less water than my top load and spins the clothes almost dry. Washer is a little shaky when spinning, but at the speed it is going around I can see why.

Quiet and awesome cleaning power

I bought this a month ago to replace our 10yr old GE top loader and this is 1/2 as noisy, cleans 2 times better and is faster. the Fast spin cycle is almost as noisy as the old washer but then the drier takes less time to dry than the washer to wash :)I would recommend the stands for under the washer and dryer as well there worth every peny

Whirlpool Duet WFW97HEWD

So far, love this washer. Replaced a Duet WFW9700VAOO with it. Had it 9 years trouble free until last year.Hope this one gives as good as it did.

Another fine Whirlpool product!

I am very pleased with the machine but it is missing some of the functions of our previous model (options for silk and wool). We are pleased with the performance and are very happy with the quality of this washer.

Most easy to use washer I have ever used

This is the easiest washing machine I have ever used. Controls are easy to understand. Very quiet operation. Laundry room is connected to my master bedroom by a wall and operation is very quiet, barely noticeable. Plenty of functionality to clean practically anything. Very efficient.

Everyone in the house has used the new washer but me. And everyone has said that it does an amazing job.

Dissatisfied

My previous washer was a front load Whirlpool. I loved it. I was unaware when I purchased it that it was disposable!!! Repairman said no one likes to fix them and it would be cheaper to buy a new one as these were disposable. That's crazy! He told me to stay with Whirlpool because they were the best. Well I did and we'll I am doubting that decision!! Just prchased the duet washer on Saturday. Was told the pedestals have not changed and the one I have would work for my new washer. WRONG!!!! A Dream of a Clean

We recently replaced our 11 year old Whirlpool Duet washer with the newest steam clean FLW and it cleans like a dream! Purchase Of Ventless Dryer Drove The Washer Decision

I wanted a matching set, but had limited choices in ventless dryers. This washer was the match for the dryer I bought. I'm very pleased with its performance.

Great volume and options

I love the LED light and large capacity. The soak function is so nice to have on a front loader. So many options with materials (e.g. whites, bulky, normal, etc.) So pleased with my purchase.

WORST PURCHASE EVER!!!!!!!

We purchased this front load washer less than 2 years ago and it was the worst purchase we have ever made. We went with the recommendation of the "salesman" and bought this product thinking he was an expert. Less than two years later it is in pieces on my basement floor. I will never purchase a whirlpool product ever again.

NOISY WHEN SPIN DRYING

I HAD MY FRONT LOAD WASHER INSTALLED THE DAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS. ON THE DEFAULT FAST SPIN, EACH WEEK IT MAKES LOUD AND LOUDER METALLIC WHINES. I HAVE REDUCED THE LOUD SOUNDS BY REDUCING THE SPIN SPEED, BUT NOW MY DRYER HAS TO WORK LONGER TO DRY THE WETTER CLOTHES.
