Great dishwasher

One year and 2 months, started to rust on outside.

We only use the dishwasher once a week and I just noticed it rusting on the surface all along the handle and on the bottonseam so I can not recommend this product. None of my other large appliances have had a rusting problem and they are years older.

defective design

bought this to replace a 6yo similar model. this model has a tray under the front door to collect leaks. it shuts the unit down every time something flat is placed in the bottom tray near the door. they obviously know about the poor design or the tray and sensor would not be there. do not buy a whirlpool dishwasher as the the model this replaced had the same issue whenever the spray arm started to leak at the seams. it would spray water under the door seal into the floor beneath the dishwasher. ...

Better model

Mediocre performance/Unsatisfied longtime customer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit to replace a 6 year old whirlpool builder grade model. The 3rd rack and stainless interior were both the main selling points. This new unit is much quieter at 47dba vs. 55dba but performance is mediocre at best. I’ve found that we’re actually able to fit less in this one due to the poor washing performance. Awful product

I have run the dishwasher 2 times and it is rusty inside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I really like this dishwasher. It does a great job and is super quiet. I like the 3rd rack to put skinny things on. The one thing that I am not happy about is that my dishes flop forward, they don’t stand up straight. I ended up trying several dish sets. And ended up buying a new set of she’s that do stay upright.

Excellent dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought this dishwasher. I was aware of some reviews posting that plastic storage containers didn’t always get dry. I have noticed the same issue. Other than that it’s a fantastic dishwasher. We have an open plan kitchen and living room. We don’t even notice if it’s running, it’s very quiet. It does an excellent job of cleaning everything we’ve put in it so far on just the normal setting.

Whirlpool Dishwasher
