Excellent dryer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was not surprised that this dryer is as good as it is…my last dryer was a whirlpool duet which actually lasted 20+ years!!!! Very happy with purchase….should anything happen to my whirlpool suet washer, i dont have to do any research…whirlpool washer!!! Thank you Whirlpool! When most appliances are now made so horribly it was a wonderful surprise to get this solid….perfectly performing Whirlpool!

Gas Whirlpool Dryer

Great Dryer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dryer along with the Whirlpool Washing Machine a few weeks ago. I am extremely happy with both machines. The multiple settings including the wrinkle guard are a plus. I highly recommend!

Peace of crap!!!

Bought recently and and very disappointed weld seem of drum has welding slag or rough spots snagging clothes Will never buy another whirlpool product!!!! Service tec less than didn’t fix problem!!

Many Cycle Settings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice dryer that has a lot of different settings that we are still trying to figure out what is the best level to have it set on. Every setting has a dryness level and some are dryer than others. As we get used to it, we are really starting to like it.

Not a a great purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer a month ago. Finally my clothes are dried in about an hour! However I am already starting having problems with this unit. The control panel doesn't respond to the commands. Sometime it gets stuck and I have to press the keys multiple times before I can start a cycle or change a setting. Also, the door must not close properly, since the control panel gives me the error message to latch the door. I am not happy with this purch...

Whirlpool dryer

We had a very similar dryer from Whirlpool prior to this one for 21 years. It was part of the duet series along with a front load washer. The washer finally quit, but the dryer was still working fine. We ended up replacing both. It’s okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer replaces a dryer that was very similar and 18 years old. The plastic used for the door is definitely less substantial. The touch screen to turn it on will not respond to my cold fingers. I have to run warm water over my hands before attempting to turn the dryer on.

Great smoke alarm tester

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No heat. A week later a serviceman found an unconnected wire. When he ran it, a VERY strong smell set off my smoke alarms. After running for one hour, the smell was much milder, but still there. Serviceman not sure what the smell was from. A couple of days later I ran my first load and it immediately set off my smoke alarms.

Unfriendly features - stupid design - DIFFICULT TO

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So my Whirlpool dryer died after only THREE years and I had to buy another so it somewhat matched the washer. Big mistake. Why do they have to keep changing the design - it gets worse each time. This one is horrible. You can't just hit the "more time" button if it's about to stop. You have to hold the reset button FOREVER for it to shut down. Then HOLD the on button. Then HOLD the start button for a few seconds. And every time I have to reset...
