Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is far more superior than my 4 year old GE that broke and not repairable. This is my second Whirlpool washer. The last one I owned for 20 years without any problem. I hope I can say the same for my new washer. The reason for giving only 4 stars is I wish there was a light in the tub when the door is opened.

DO NOT BUY THIS WASHING MACHINE

Terrible washing machine. On my second washing machine (first one returned to Coxtco as it never worked). Second machine has had 3 separate failures: control board failure, upper harness failure, and now fails to allow hot water into the washing machine.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At times does not spin out and at times the control pad does not work. So very disappointing for a new washer. The set looks beautiful wish it worked as well as it looks. I think I just got lemons as my friend who’s a repairman said whirlpool is the best as to why I got them February 22 25. My Electrolux set finally died

Great results and quiet, too

Good Size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer about 3 weeks ago. It was slightly bigger than my older front load - WFW85HEFW . The slight increase in cubic feet makes a noticeable difference. I am happy with how it cleans but the unit is more plastic than my old one and I prefer metal.

Many cycles

It has all the features you could wish for including the many wash cycle choices. I am particularly impressed by the efficiency both in energy and water usage. The machine calculates the load size and selects the appropriate water usage. It is by far the quietest machine I have ever owned. You hardly know it is running. Clothes come out clean...

Excellent Dryer

The machine looks great but.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine looks great but..... having to hold down the start button for 3 second with the machine not starting the load after it has been started is confusing. There has been two times that I thought it was on and it wasn't. Not having a delayed start function is bothersome, I can't load the machine before I go to bed and have it ready for the dryer when I wake. The clothes aren't as dry after the spin cycle as my old Whirlpool Duet machine. ...

Great machine

The washer was a large capacity front loader. During the intervening years there were never any problems with the machine. Recently I was looking for a more updated energy efficient washer. It’s okay

Problems Already

Having issues with first use. Warranty process has been a nightmare! I would never buy or recommend another Whirlpool. Service today and now we need more parts? Seeing how things went today I am not confident in the 3rd party companies they hire nor Whirlpool

The washer has the detergent reservoir feature.

I also bought the matching dryer and the pedestals which is so easy to load and transfer loads. These machines are very easy to operate and we, my wife and I, couldn’t be happier.

Great investment

The washer is so easy to use and has a nice variety of settings for various types of loads. The first time I used it, the wash cycle was so quiet that I thought I had forgotten to turn it on. I was so pleased that I decided on another Whirlpool.
