I bought this to have piece of mind at home when I'm away and my family deals with inclement weather. Very easy to use, runs quiet, and set up was easy. Great pick for keeping necessities running off you don't need a whole house standby generator.

After 4-5 years

Excellent generator, bought during Covid time frame, use this for a remote weekend cabin on and off, in the summer I use for 2 ac’s and a cpap , machine and basic stuff . Sometime it stays in for 24-48 hrs even 72 hrs. Switched to synthetic oil early on.and change oil regularly between 60-80 hrs or when dirty which in the summer is 1x a month . Only issues I’ve had : oil changes are messy, it drains to the plate under it where there is a drain plug which allows you to drain to a oil pan, but...

Great Unit - Love it

I purchased this unit in March 2024. We do a lot of outdoor activities, and it has more than lived up to my expectations. It has plenty of power to run all of our needs and is actually great on gas. Our most recent use, it ran 8+ hours for two days straight and I didn't refuel. I would definitely purchase again.

The iGen5000c is exactly the generator I wanted

I was looking for an inverter generator that was quiet yet powerful enough to provide home backup for a gas furnace, some appliances and key lighting circuits. Mixed Review - Great Performer Aggravating Issues

The generator performs very well. The location where the oil has to be checked and filled is very hard to access. You sometimes have to lay on the ground to get the plug back in. The battery cover and the oil access cover fall off too easily. Even when you're moving the generator you find them lying on the ground

Bought this after borrowing my brother's (3 year old 5000) for a week long trip, both have worked perfectly, very quiet, remote start is great, and plenty of power for the toy hauler.

New generator

I just purchased it for ice fishing and as a back up generator for home and have not used it yet. Looking forward to it. I love the fact that it has a remote start and a battery that came with it!

Great first use after quirky set-up

Just a few days after receiving the iGen5000c, our power went out. Jumping ahead, the unit started right up, worked flawlessly, and was blessedly quiet (our old generator sounded like a truck using compression brakes). Great All around iGen5000C Generator

I have Big Camper that’s 50amp. When downsizing my camping trips I recently bought a tent. Needed a quiet generator for our National Forest, but also this model is quiet (52db) enough, but you can parallel another compatible generator and still run my large 50 amp camper. Great Features! Quiet, Easy to Use

I bought this for my small business, it has great feature - my favorite part is the LCD screen for the amount of gas is in the generator. Previous generator had a toggle level under some plexi glass, but when that glass was dirty, it was hard to tell if it was filled or not. This is a much better way of telling.

quiet travel trailer etc. power

great value inverter generator! The iGen5000 will power my entire 30amp travel trailer. the 3+ gallon fuel tank will run easily through the night if needed. the remote is a wonderful option. To be able to turn the generator on and off from the remote adds a level of comfort and convenience. you can watch tv before falling asleep at night and just hit the button on the remote is much easier than getting up and going outside to turn it off. need power for 2 min to microwave lunch no need to go out...

IGen5000 not aIGen4500?

I have two other portable generators but the reason i bought this one is two of my friends hae them and they are every quite. We camp primative during deer hunting and it the best generator for this purpose.
