Would RecommendThere is a lot to like about this generator but the unit I received was nearly impossible to start in cold weather. The problem was a factory assembly error related to the choke cable. In the Before image you can see the original state of the cable. Moving the choke control moved the cable but did not move the choke mechanism. Would RecommendBought this to replace a duramax dual fuel that croaked after one summer. This generator runs super quiet, excellent fuel economy and runs my whole hunting cabin with no issues. Excellent product.

Too new to rate
Would RecommendWestinghouse was so anxious to get a review that they automatically triggered this review at the end of the Warranty Registration process. I have not put oil or gas in it yet. I’m currently reading the owner’s manual. I do like the large carrying handles the transport wheels and the extendable handle. At approximately 100 lbs we can carry it easily where the wheels won’t roll.

The quick start guide is in error in the very first step. No need to take the access cover off to add oil. There is a dedicated access cover for oil. An oil fill funnel is provided, which is nice, but the spout is so small, it is a challenge to add oil w/o spilling. Maybe a slightly longer hose on the funnel would be better so it could be bent to more of a vertical pouring position. The leads on the battery are too short for people like me with big hands. It is difficult to get my hands in...

Would RecommendI just bought this generator. I am happy about the ease of set up. Also, it is very easy to move this generator around which is an added bonus for a little lady such as myself. Generator started up first push of the button and ran smoothly.

Simple to Use and Great Features
Would RecommendI bought this in September of 2024 after a major extended power outage in Duncan SC. The setup was easy and took about 10. Fortunately, I haven't had a reason to use it since I purchased it other than a 30-minute break in period which went flawlessly. I feel confident that we are ready if we experience an extended power outage in the future. Definitely worth the peace of mind moving forward.
