I bought this to avoid crushing my gutters when getting on my roof. It works great.

While this accessory kit takes a bit of time to install, I certainly enjoyed the stability that it brought to my ladders. I felt far better three stories up than ever before. The one addition that I suggest Werner make is to add a second paint hook that slides on the bar. With only one, you have to choose which side to put it and it can't be moved until uninstalled. Having two would allow the bucket to be placed on either side. I paint with either hand so I like being able to move the bucket ...

Product does what's it's supposed to, but bought this cause it was cheaper. Kinda pain in the butt to install, it's huge and bulky what on

Great value and well worth it.

Wish we had gotten the stabilizer a long time ago. Used it on an extension ladder to paint our two story home. The ladder felt considerably more stable than it does when the ladder is extended out without the AC Stabilizer.

FANTASTIC PRODUCT ! I should have bought one of these years ago. Really stabilizers the ladder. You can go higher, safer.

The AC Stabilizer did/does what it was design to do! Be sure to properly attach the ladder stabilizer by following the instructions in the owners manual.

Effective ladder stablizer bar

This bar was easy to install on my 20' telescoping ladder and I was able to rest the ladder on the roof making sure the ladder didn't touch my gutters. The ladder didn't twist at all and was very stable side to side. I can see why so many contractors use it and would recommend purchasing it to keep your ladder off your gutters.

Pain in the but to attack and adjust on ladders. Would not recommend. I would of returned it but I used it and I’m not one of those people that would do stuff like that.

two basic problems

This item is "easy for user to attach". But I cannot find instructions to do so on your website. and I even did have it attached several years ago! Also, I agree with the reviewers about the instability of just having thumbscrews to attach a life-or-death accessory.

Great for DIY project.

Each job needs right tools. I’m DIY person capable to do about anything around house. Needed it to increase safety while fixing damaged by heavy snowfall gutters. Will not recommend for professional or everyday use - only reason do give less than 5 stars.

ladder stabilizer

I was feeling a little insecure climbing up and down my 24 foot ladder. I purchased the stabilizer from Lowe's thinking it would help. WOW, It did the trick! I feel a lot better now. Safer then before. Plus, It even holds a bucket full of tools. Thank You

GREAT PRODUCT

I had some gutters installed and they had these stabilizers on thier ladders. They increase your safety 100%, ladder doesn’t wobble at all. It also protects your gutters and roofs edge from damage, since the cushioned feet raise the ladder above the edge. Super easy to install.

I bought this to use with a 20 foot aluminum extension ladder that is probably more than 30 years old and not a Werner product, to make climbing to seal a metal roof that had numerous tiny leaks and clean gutters safer.
