You can make one with heavy 1" PVC (the thick kind)---2 elbows and 2 end caps. Then get some ubolts. This is not anything but a big U shaped thing that allows the ladder to rest on it- vs on the house or whatever----Its about 3' wide- and 12" deep- and bolts on with ubolts. Extremely nice. Gets you far enough away from your wall at the top of your ladder so you can work. Makes it very stable.

This is an excellent product. It stabilizes your extension ladder preventing sideways slip as you climb and also whilst standing at the top. I can’t believe ladders are sold without this device included. Climb fearlessly (but not without proper precaution) knowing that this product has exponentially increased the stability of your ladder.
