Would Not RecommendThe temperature readout of the ambient probe cycles - up 20 degrees rather quickly, but then down 20 degrees just as quickly. This happened on its first use - constantly going in and out of temperature range. I swapped it out (to measure ambient temperature) with an extra meat probe I had, and the temp readout immediately climbed another 30 degrees and was stable. I see no benefit to using an ambient only thermometer, unless you are afraid you will poke yourself with the exposed point of a meat ...

Inconsistent performance of probes
Would Not RecommendProbes are often inconsistent with meat temperature and I often have to use a separate thermometer to confirm the actual temperature. This was the problem with the initial set of probes which came with the thermometer. When the probes work correctly, the thermometer is great.

Very Nice But Could Be Better
Would RecommendProbe is excellent for bar b que, but for grilling its maximum is 572 degrees. Most of the times I grill at temperatures which exceed the maximum for the probe and the smart hub will indicate dashes, vexing. Weber please develop a new probe with a maximum of at least 700 degrees, we need a probe that can handle the heat! The probe is still good, but limited.
