Doesn’t work well

I have attempted to use this thermometer several times. Sometimes it connects but other times it won’t turn on. When it works it is very useful. Won’t recommend this model. The app on the phone is nice.

Love this temperature probe.

Got this for Father’s Day. Not only is this super accurate but with the combination with the app takes it over the top. Open the app and pick the type of meat and press go. It will notify you when it get close to the temp. The only complaint is the distance from the device to phone is not super long.

Easy 5min. Set up

When it came in I said oh no another pain set up,I was so wrong it took about 5 in. To setup to my biueray.

Cooking temp

I have had trouble with turning it on and off, always seems to be off. Had to get online for instructions on how to use this.

Doesn’t work

Bought my Webergrill 3 months ago and Am pleased with the grill The accompanying iGrill mini has not worked since buying at the same time. I was told something to do to try and fix it but that didn’t work. I was told that I should buy a new battery. Sorry but I think you should supply that battery though I’m not sure the mini works at all

Great Idea, But Stock up on Batteries

Loved this little guy for 4 bbqs, then THOUGHT I had it turned off and.... didn't. It could use a better "hey I'm still on" alert or better yet a power off when at room temp for an extended period. Other that that great product, good app, and I have more batteries for the next time I flub the turning off!

Worked twice now just a fridge magnet

Used 2 times and worked great. Tried it today and keeps indicating the probe needs to be connected. Tried turning on and off. Tried re-pairing. Unplugged and plugged back in the probe numerous times, but still doesn't recognize a probe is connected. I should expect a product to work more than two times. Very disappointed.

Excellent for certain uses

I'm very happy with my iGrill mini - I primarily purchased it to just monitor the grill temperature more accurately with my Weber Kettle; however I've slowly started using my meat probe for low and slow cooks as well to keep an eye on things. I was not expecting at this price to have more than one probe at a time; so I cannot fault that at all. The only issue I've had is the shutoff. Poor battery life.

Battery is good for about two uses. I’m tired of replacing batteries, so on to a different vendor.

Awesome gadget

Love this! Received as a gift and it helps you cook to perfection! Perfect steaks every time!

Makes grilling stressful

This product is very hard to get to work and makes grilling stressful. I spent about 30 min on average trying to get it to connect to my phone. Some times it works most times it doesn't. I ended up trashing it and going with another brand.

Smoked to Perfection

My wife and I purchased the 'iGrill Mini' as a birthday gift for our son-in-law. This past week-end he employed it to smoke a beef brisket, a 10-1/2 hour process in his Weber charcoal kettle. He said it was fun and enjoyed the process, especially the graphing display of the meat's internal temperature rise over the course of smoking. Excellent product

Pros: Connects to iPhone easily. Notifies you when you are close to temp and when temp is reached. Gives Apple Watch notifications. Temp is accurate. App is easy. Well built Cons: I still haven’t quite figured out how to turn on and off, I just play with it for a minute until the app shows a temp. The battery is about dead after just one brisket smoked. Returned after 2nd use

I bought this a month ago as I was attempting to use my Weber Smoker Box. The thermometer worked as a good thermometer, but it was useless for acting as a grill thermometer. My grill thermometer showed 250+ and this thing never got above 114 degrees. I returned it and will look elsewhere. I have had horrible luck with all of my Weber products

Can’t reliably shut it off

This thing needs an off switch. This thing needs a new battery every time I use it.

my wife bought this for me about 2 weeks ago i used this device last weekend and everything went good. when i tried to use this device for the second time (yesterday) the temperature would not chance once it go to 152 degrees hopefully this one was just a defect... going back to lowes to exchange this.

Just awful

This used to be a great products several years back. With each update, Weber has made the app progressively worse. I also have recurring Bluetooth issues with this device. In the end it's more headache than it's worth. PS -I own a Weber grill which I love, but they should have left iGrill alone to be the great product it once was.

Garbage

I threw it out. Battery is always dead. I was taking the battery out between uses to preserve battery life. Forgot one time and the battery is drained. Make an on off switch and don’t rely on disconnecting the thermometer to turn off the device. Such a bad design. I can’t recommend buying any other thermometer enough.
