~200 Sq inches when Lid is Closed
When grill lid is closed 27% of table area is covered by the lid handle. Thus, when lid is closed there is approx 200 square inches of useable table surface. Easy assembly.

Would RecommendThe folding shelves that Weber offers for the Searwood grill are well designed, just as the grill itself is. They are sturdy, fairly easy to install, and the folding mechanism works well to raise when in use and lower when the grill is covered. I would have preferred if they were available with stainless steel, but the black paint blends in well with the grill. The additional work space the shelf provides is very useful!

It is very easy to install, and takes little time or effort to do so. From a functional standpoint, folding the table up or down takes very little effort, but it does require two hands.
