What Customers Are Saying
The Weber adapter hose appears to have quality and durability issues, with many customers reporting problems such as cracking, leaking, and the hose becoming non-functional within a short period of use. This has led to safety concerns, including propane leaks and fires. Customers express frustration with the poor quality given the premium price, and some suggest looking for alternative, more reliable hose options.

Would Not RecommendI have had this piece for a little over a year and never had this happen to me before on a hose adaptor. The spacer or washer inside the end that connects to the tank disintegrated basically and is now not usable so I have to buy another one. I usually have high praises for everything Weber but this part is not up to Webers usual par.

Failed to work after roughly a year.
Would Not RecommendPurchased in May of 2021 to use with my Go Anywhere and later on my Q1000. Barely a year old and the plastic collar broke on the tank side of hose so it won't let propane through. I am firm believer in Weber quality but this hose is lacking.

Horrible hose
Would Not RecommendI bought this hose in December 2021 to restore a Q grill I've had for probably 15 yrs. The old hose never gave any problems in the past. I turned the grill on for maybe the 3rd time since i installed the new hose and it leaks where the hose connects to the green fitting. Very bad quality. I do not recommend this hose

Less than one year and propane no longer flows
Would Not RecommendLess than one year and propane no longer flows (second off brand hose works fine). I believe there used to be a washer inside the green cap. It is not longer there.

white washer inside green knob broke into pieces
after about a year of use, I had the same experience as so many others: it worked fine at first, but then when changing the tank I could not get it to properly attach. Looked inside to see broken pieces.

Gas leaking from hose connection to tank
Would Not RecommendBought an adapter hose to fit on 20 gallon propane tank. Going on vacation 9/21 had grill and propane tank turned off. Went to disconnect at the tank (green handle) and propane came spewing out, all over my hand and arm. I ended up with burns from the propane fuel on my hand. I went to urgent care to get it looked at. Hand no idea at the time that the culprit was the green turn valve, like so many reviews here. I took my 20lb gas tank out to a company for disposal, fearing the issue was t...

Portable Weber Grill Propane Hose
Would RecommendRequired to connect to a Propane tank-20,30, Etc. It is easy to stand up and blindly reach under the top of the grill and insert , twist and tighten the hose fitting to the grill

Always Works Perfectly
Would RecommendOther such hoses work only sporadically with the Q2200 and 1200. I’m not sure what is different about this official Weber hose, but it always works perfectly.

Q1000 Grill not just a portable grill
I made a grill cart to put my portable Q1000 Grill on and upgraded to a 20# gas bottle. The "adapter hose" I purchased is the perfect length for this new set up. If I ever need to use the grill on portable basis again, I can just go back to the little camper size gas bottles.
