Poor design, Weber should send free replacement

I found the same problem after two years of great use the gasket. The white gasket had deteriorated, and I don’t know if we can be replace it. The grill is unusable now whoever they designed it so you have to buy a $45 hose kit after gasket brakes poor design on Weber

Not working for me!

I bought this to use with a new Weber Q grill, after discovering that generic hoses such as this one do not appear to be compatible any longer. Neither is this on. I've only got it to work twice, yet using a 1 lb tank with the grill works just fine. A waste of money.

Works until it doesn’t

I purchased one of these years ago to save the hassle of disposable propane cylinders. When it worked, it was great. While on a multi-state road trip, the nylon bushing inside the couple cracked which rendered the hose useless. I replaced it, then just over a year ago that one failed after only a few years of use. Great to have an option

I had a huge propane tank that was full. Good to know I could attach it and make good use of it.

Poor

We have now gone through 3 of these and then they quit working! Not our 20lb tank and not the grill itself. As it will work with the 1 lb tanks!!

Replacement Hose Works

This is an update to previous review. They reached out to me and provided me with a new adapter hose, which works. I still don’t know why my original one went bad and they weren’t able to offer an explanation. I was told that there is a 2 year warranty on the hose, so hopefully I won’t need it.

Garbage

This is yet another product designed and engineered to fail. First they designed it to require a spacer to hold the collar in the correct position, rather then machine the brass fitting to hold it where it snaps on. Then they ensured it would fail by making the spacer out of poor quality nylon rather than brass or at least reinforced ABS. Now we're stuck without a grill because we can't afford to buy a new hose every other season.

Should be included with expensive grill

Well we bought the grill from a local hardware store but didn't realize that it didn't have the NECESSARY hose. Have people over to serve them dinner on our new grill but cannot use. It get tiresome to keep on getting nickel and dimed on so many products. Weber is a reputable company that should know better. Absolutely ridiculous!

Didn’t fit on my traveler

I got this and the end that connects to the bbq didn’t fit. I got a universal one from a local store and that fit right away. Is it okay to use a non Weber product?

This Hose FAILED after six uses

I bought this hose roughly 5 months ago for my Traveler grill and the white plastic insert has broken and I could not grill last night! This part needs to be improved! I'd like a warranty replacement!
