White Plastic Collar Broke
Would Not RecommendUsed this adapter hose for about a year and a half. As others have experienced the white collar inside the green knob came apart. Without this white collar the hose cannot make a connection with the propane tank. I would not recommend purchasing this hose, it is not designed to last.

Frustrated borrower
Would Not RecommendI had two Weber hoses fail at the same time leaving me no way to cook dinner while camping this weekend. The white plastic piece in both hoses broke apart. I had to borrow a couple of green cylinders to finish out the weekend. Now having to replace two hoses, the cost of Weber's hoses and how long they last, I will have to consider another brand.

Hose failed
Would Not RecommendSame issue as a bunch of the other reviews here. Small white plastic piece inside the green end broke into pieces. I've had the hose for 5 years or so, but something like this shouldn't be the reason the whole thing is now useless. It should be something we can replace easily, like a rubber hose washer. Disappointed and leaving a 1 star review like the others. The rest of the hose is perfectly fine.

Poor connection caused fire
Would Not RecommendI cannot get the 6501 hose to seal to the regulator of my Q220 grill. I tried the yellow plumbers tape but I keep getting gas leaks and fires at that connection. A standard propane cannister screws on and works fine. Am I doing something wrong?

Second one to break on us...
Would Not RecommendWe've bought two of these hoses now, both have broken within a year of having them. I spent hours trying to solve the mystery on why my 2200 wasn't working: cleaned the entire BBQ up, replaced 2x 20lb tanks (which weren't even empty but thought they could be the problem), then finally bought a 1lb tank to test. It's such a shame that this hose keeps failing on us as we love our Weber BBQ.

Having same plastic cracking issue
Would Not RecommendWorks well but the plastic cracked like others have complained about. What a waste of materials to have to throw a whole hose away because the smallest plastic piece cracked and broke... fix this weber, charge us more for better materials if you have to but I am sick of this throw away culture.

That darn plastic ring
Would Not RecommendI had the same issue as many with the cracked plastic ring. Mine cracked in a such a way that allowed all the propane to leak out of the tank. Very glad that I had the tank and Q grill stored outside. Never had this happen on any of my grills. Poor design.
