Weber connect hub will not update

I can pair the device to the app on my iPhone but then it gives me a message to update there software, it gets to 99%b update and then starts over and cycles it never updates.

Reads on its own?

Bought this thinking it would save all my time. Wrong. Magnetic bottom no longer strong as it was when o first got it and probs are all messed up. Temps fluctuate from 30-400!! One less input just reads 172 without anything in it. I tried a complete reset and cleaned out contacts but nope stil issues

Straight forward wireless digital meat thermometer

This is a great, no frills digital thermometer!! I've done an 18 hour smoke with it and it still had a little battery left at the end. I had no issues connecting it to my Android phone or to the WiFi. I've used the programs along with just setting the target temperature and ambient temperature ranges. I highly recommend it and would buy it again.

APP IS UNSTABLE

I had Weber Connect about 6 months now and it worked great the first few times. I was pleased with the product. Then I would have to keep starting the app over again each time I checked my phone. I pair it again, reset the app and a few other trouble shooting tips suggested by the app. Then a message kept appearing telling me to update the app. So, I tried to no avail. It would reach about 22% before it just shut down all the while flashing back and forth to a screen saying something went wrong ...

Poor Instructions

I think the Weber Connect is useful but there are no step by step instructions on how to use the app. I put the probe in the meat, and go to the app and set the alert temp and nothing happens. It says to connect a probe. I do, in #1 and nothing and into #2 and nothing. What buttons should I push to make it work? A step by step would be very useful

Great product, but Weber Connect app needs work

I have a Smokefire Grill with Weber Connect and I liked it so much, I bought this Weber Connect Hub to use with my gas grill and my Weber Performer Kettle grill. However, the Smart Connect App only allows you to have 1 device. When I switch products I need to go into the app and "forget" the current device (Hub or Smokefire) and then connect to the other. Very useful accessory

This device is simple to use and includes two probes - one to check the temperature inside your grill/smoker and the other to keep track of your meat temperature. You also can check on your cook time. It has some weight to it, and the bracket (sold separately) is shaped perfectly for it. I love weber grills you know it’s true they light so easy and I can out cook you. Beef , chicken vegetables to I can even make homemade stew, tailgate party cold drinks on ice charcoal cooked food makes it so right. I love my weber grills. I get my thrills cooking on weber grills.

Nice and useful tool that allow you to cook to perfection; wish that I had it with me while traveling. I overcooked a turkey on Easter.

Combine the 2

Bought the Weber connect, when I bought weber 22" smokey mountain. Used it for pork shoulder went pretty good. The pork shoulder was bigger than the preset pork shoulder weight no way to change. I thought it would have the features of the I grill, the graph that shows the temperature of the grill throughout the cook. Returned and bought the I grill, I will be returning the I grill today. Inconsistent Experience

Would give 5 but...

I love this device it works well with Bluetooth and wifi and seems to have the high quality I expect from webber. BUT! For some reason there is no way to power it off so the battery is always dead when I need it. Basically it's a paper weight with a dead battery most of its life. I don't always know the before I'm gonna bbq so I need a device that is ready when I am.

Useless. Wireless doesn't work

I've spent hours trying to turn this brand new Weber Connect on. It powered on finally after following the confusing instructions. The wifi and bluetooth simply don't work. Wifi light won't turn on. Won't pair even 1" from my phone. Tried several phones and a tablet. Obviously the wireless won't turn on. Went through the help section and reset the device 5 times. Not impressed. I can't review the app since it won't allow the app to run if the device doesn't pair. I also can not tell if...
