Works until it doesn’t

Would Not Recommend

I bought this maybe 2 years ago, used sparingly just for grilling, and eventually the screen just stopped showing numbers- instead showing illegible lines. I love all my Weber products including my grill. Not sure I’d buy another one of these though.

Broke after one use

I bought this at the beginning of the summer to use with my new grill, the first time I used it everything was good thought it worked well. Went to use it a second time and the screen display was unreadable, so I figured I left it on and changed the battery. Screen is still unreadable and I only used it once and cleaned it per instructions might have to go to a different brand it seems cheaply made

Would Not Recommend

I bought this thermometer about 2 years ago. Display only shows the the number after the point. I changed the battery thinking this was the problem to no avail. Could have gotten it but surprised that a thermometer designed to measure food temp would be designed this way in the first place

Disappointment product

We bought 2 of the meat thermometers. We used one and it worked, I cleaned it as per instructions and went to use it again and it didn't work. We changed the batteries and still nothing. Tried the 2nd one...same thing happened. Not a good product

Worked Great, until it hit wet during a hand wash

Would Not Recommend

Can’t believe Weber would swell something that is supposed to be safe for food, but can’t get wet during a routine hand wash of the probe without dying. Stopped working in the middle of a 10 hour smoke leaving me with option of hoping my calculations were right or having to run out and buy a new instant read thermometer.

Does the job!

Would Recommend

Great product. Did wish you could keep it in the meat while in the smoker so we didn’t have to open the door to check the temp. It overheated when we tried that and wouldn’t turn on. Took a few minutes to work again, so we know not to do that.

Love Weber Products, but Instant is junk

Only had this instant read thermometer for a short time. In fact, still has the plastic cover on the LCD Screen. Thought the battery was going out early, so I just purchased new battery and the LCD screen is unreadable and just has some obscure numbers flashing in and out.

No longer works. Numbers in the LED are unreadable

I can't recall when I bought it, but it did work well -- for a few months. Now the numbers on it are unreadable., rendering it useless .... not the quality I'd expect from Weber. Numbers look like Russian or Greek letters.
