Over spray

I read the book & watched instruction on youtube, yet I ended up with too much over spray it took over hour to clean up. Could have painted with roller in half the time.

Absolutely NO!

It spits an spatters non-stop, and is only good for ruining whatever you’re painting. There is nothing good to say about this thing. I couldn’t return this hunk of junk fast enough, and it ultimately ended up costing me more to fix the mess it caused.

It sprayed, and then would pause and burst again. It also did what the other reviews said, paint would continue to come out when the trigger was not pulled. First time using a paint sprayer, and ended up going back over it with a roller... total disappointment

waist of money

It says it is paint ready it is not will not spray latex paint without thinning still did not do a good job DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY bought cheap harbor freight spray gun did 10 times better than this sprayer only gave 1 star because no star was not a option

Works perfect

I just bought this to use paint mixed with crafting glitter for my daughters room. It worked amazing. I tried everything else to apply the glitter to walls and nothing was working how i wanted it to. This solved all my problems and was amazing. Would recommend to anyone to try it.

Great product

I've wanted a sprayer for awhile and tried a different (larger, more powerful) model with no success. This model is manageable even for small hands and holds a surprising amount of paint. It gives an even coat of paint. Additionally it's very easy to clean (latex paint).

impressive .

after reading a lot of reviews I wasn't expecting a lot. I read the instructions and before getting started, I played with the adjustments on both the trigger and the nozzle. once comfortable with that I learned it's very important to squeeze the trigger just enough to start the fan, then when ready squeeze the rest of the way to start spraying paint. worked like a champ. and like a lot of people said clean up is critical. also, I put a thin layer of the grease provided, on the nozzle parts and ...

Messy

This painter sprayed globs of paint all over the place. It wasn't accurate and made a mess with splatter. I was not impressed and returned the item. If you're looking for texture it might work but I was wanting a smooth finish.

Good product, does job

Got this on a discount weekend to seal a deck. It worked great. It was my first sprayer of this type. A couple of notes: Clean it immediately after using. Don't let the paint or sealer dry in it. The cleaning is straightforward, but putting it back together properly is a little tricky. The holding tank is about forty ounces, and you go through it quickly. Noticed some negative reviews of this item, but wanted to state that it does exactly what it's designed to do, and does it well.

Nice sprayer

I purchased this sprayer to stain a 70 foot section of fence and then used it again to stain a 20x17 concrete deck. It worked absolutely flawlessly both times. I read various reviews before purchasing the item as I had never used a paint sprayer before. Excellent for my Students

We purchased this as a second unit to paint 50 sheets of 1/2 plywood that were assembled into individual cubicles for our school. Eight high school students were trained by other students to use this gun to paint 15 gallons of paint over a three week class time period. Meaning it was cleaned 15+ times and had 15+ startups. Works well but must be kept clean

I work in a factory and we were replacing some ceiling tiles. We wanted black tiles. So we bought this sprayer. It will spray the off the shelf latex flat black pain straight out of the can that we also purchased at Lowe's. Over a couple weeks we sprayed about 10 gallons. only time we had trouble was if it was not 100% clean when we started. We purchased a gallon of goof off at Lowe's to use to clean it. Blow dryer

If you are looking to paint with a blow dryer than buy this, if not buy the graco brand. This literally just spits paint and leaves a texture instead of a nice finish. Definitely not worth the money

It took me a little to adjust the spray level. After getting it right the sprayer is so much easier to use and has a more consistent look.

Like a Boss!!! Works Perfectly out the box!

I painted the side of my house on a windy day. This sprayer is freaking awesome. I did thin the latex paint I put though the sprayer. I used 2oz of water per liter of paint and mixed it really well, that ratio worked for me. It gave me even coats, the over spray was surprisingly kept to a minimum. not worth the plastic its made out of

i bought one of these to paint my new house it painted the primer ok i started to put the color on and it was horrible it painted blotchy and uneven so i tried a different brand of paint paint the same way i have cleaned every part i can now it wont even spray water through it i used a friends harbor freight spry gun and it work a 100 times better than this one ever did should have gone to harbor frieght

Thought it was going to be great, but....

The reviews were all over the place on this item, but I decided to try it for a long weekend of painting rooms. First day, it leaked paint like crazy and was kind of overwhelming to use, but I chalked it up to the learning curve, cleaned it up, reassembled and tried again the next day. Worked like a charm on two walls, but after I filled the canister back up, it stopped spraying paint, just air. I tried to call the customer service line, but they aren't open on weekends. Really? Be patient, you will succeed!

I almost didn't buy this due to some of the negativity. I will say this is my first try at a sprayer vs roller but for larger painting projects, this is the way to go. I did have a learning curve and experiences of what to do/not do but this make painting fun and sprayed consistent. Keys to success: 1) prepping is key and you must take time taping and covering ALL floors and furniture so you don't get paint dust or spray. 2) do whole job at once or at least a large chunk as the paint dries on no...

I wanted to try a small portable sprayer to paint my eaves and the exterior of my house. Everything went well. I'm not a big person so to hold the sprayer up to do the eaves was a little hard. All in all everything worked well. The one problem I had was the lock for handle and cup keep unlocking. Could be done better.
