I am a cabinet maker. My father taught me how, and I have been using a gravity fed sprayer with a compressor for years. With the old process, I would have to apply five to six thin coats and sand between each one in order to achieve the desired finish that I expect from my work. Works great once.

I used this sprayer for one room when I first bought it. I cleaned the sprayer and put it away. It's been sitting for about a year. Well I need it again to paint the rest of my house, now all it does is "SPLATTER" paint on the walls. There is no smooth flow of pain, no matter what I do it will not flow smoothly from the nozzle. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. If you use it once fine, but don't let it sit it wont be the same again.

Be very careful how you clean and store parts

Sprayer works reasonably well, better if you thin latex a little first. My biggest problem with it is storage after cleanup. Generally I'm accustomed to disassembling the air cap and storing them submerged in appropriate solvent (water for latex) until next use. That's how I care for my automotive HVLP paint guns (made out of metal) and the approach works really well. However, as I just found out by surprise - if you use this gun with a solvent/oil based paint, don't try storing the plastic part...

Would not buy again

I previously bought model Graco TrueCoat Plus II and was very happy with it and continue to use it. I wanted to purchase another one for my business for painting trim. Was very unhappy the way it preformed. All parts on this unit is plastic and can be easily broke. I tried everything in the owners manual to resolve the problem I was having but with no results. Paint does not come out of sprayer evenly (blotchy/splatter)

A lot of small pieces

This sprayer was purchased after purchasing another louder $99 sprayer that failed after painting for ten minutes. Lowes took the return no problem and I proceeded to get this sprayer. It was used to prim and paint garage ceiling and walls.. It was mid Jan in central Texas with a temp of 70F. Large door was closed small door open with house heater on. Paint went on thick and when tape was being removed the paint was also coming off. Paint and primer where together well, but the 5 gallon $39 dryw...

Don't buy

The product clogs easy and won't work for more than a day at best without issues. Its hard to believe Wagner engineers can't figure out a good design in the 100 dollar range market. How they test it and launch it in good faith is crazy. Pass on this product. I followed instructions to the T, and used mid grade latex and go 2 walls done before it stopped spraying. Cleaned and then it barely sprayed. calling it a paint sprayer is a stretch. Buy something else.

OK about sums it up

Keeping this thing spraying in a pattern and at a flow that you desire is almost a struggle. It seems to want to go from a mist to throwing buckets no matter how many adjustments I made. Easy to fill and reasonable to clean and reassemble. Stopped using it after a short time. The erratic results sent me back to rollers and brushes.

Not worth the money

Was made for interior use but paint went everywhere. Even when you were not squeezing trigger paint was still slowly leaking out the end all over everything.

Totally Unimpressed

Does not live up to its name of "pasint ready". Rather than spraying the paint, it spits it out. The nozzle cconstantly clogs. I spent more time unclogging the nozzle than painting. Overall, this is a poor quality product.

Horrible for Ceilings

Theirs this on ceiling kept gumming up. Had to take apart several times for a 13x13 ceiling. Don't waste you money. Hard to use on ceiling no spray just squirts. Way to heavy.

Not Impressed

I just purchased this Wagner PaintReady sprayer because my old Wagner heavy duty airless sprayer decided to stop working half way into painting all my interior doors and trim. Needless to say I am not impressed with this new sprayer. I'm not new to spray painting, hove used both airless and regular spray guns in the past. Paint did not come out even and way to fast as compared to the airless sprayer. I am using twice as much paint as I did with my airless sprayer. Had heavy globs of paint spitti...

Purchased to paint kitchen cabinet doors. Worked well, does move a lot of air so hanging doors was not an option. Easy to clean and simple to use.

Not at all disappointed

I've heard horror stories from others using paint guns...so I was very hesitant when I purchased this Wagner HVLP Handheld Paint Sprayer. Well let me tell you, I will NEVER hand paint cabinets again. This tool was such a time saver. I've used it four times now. Once to prime my cabinets using an oil based Kilz, then three more times adding finishing coats with a latex based paint. I properly cleaned my gun after each use, and it worked just as good the fourth time as it did the first.

Don't do it!!!

Absolute biggest waste of $100 I've ever had. Tried it with both stain and latex paint neither worked better off using a roller because that's what you have to do anyway. when you let off the sprayer it sprays a steady stream all over and ruins anything in its path. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

First time user

I borrowed a Control Spray from a relative only to find it would not spray latex paint. I searched your website to find one that would. I chose the PaintReady. After reading the reviews I carefully read the instructions, twice. I took the sprayer apart to familiarize myself with it. I had a little trouble with spattering on the first 2 gallons. I ran out of paint and sent the wife after more and while she was gone I cleaned the sprayer. It took me longer to take it apart and clean it than it did...

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

So, after hand rolling primer on the exterior side of my brick house I decided to check into paint sprayers (wish I had thought of it sooner!!). I saw that most reviews for all of them (in my price range) were random and all over the place. I also was using a paint that is known to be thick, so I worried it wouldn't flow through and may clog. Fast & Easy!

First paint sprayer I've purchased and I have no complaints. Read some bad reviews but figured I'd give it a try and i'm glad I did, painted my brick home in no time at all. Gets a little heavy after a while but so much easier than using a paint brush. I would recommend this sprayer to anyone!

I'm a complete amateur - however; I found this tool to be easy to use and easy to maintain as well. I am thoroughly happy with the results.

Well worth the money!

We bought this to paint some rooms inside the house and the outside. Very pleased with how well it covered.
