Fence stain

Bought this to put dark stain on home fence (3100 sq ft total). Worked great. Very easy to disassemble and clean. Paint container was “right sized” for home use. Only difficulty we encountered was the red “o” ring on reassembly...make sure it’s installed exactly as the product manual indicates, or will not spray.

Don’t know why I never bought one before!

Short story...... got home from Lowe’s with the sprayer at 1:00PM, at 2:30PM I was sitting in the den with a “beverage”. I read the manual, stained a weathered 300 sq ft deck, cleaned the sprayer and but everything away in less than 90 minutes. If I hadn’t run out of stain, the 40 feet of railing and posts would’ve taken about 20 minutes more. The instructions were very clear. A little cleaning brush and o-ring lube were included. CS250 works great.. finding parts not so much...

I have had my Control Spray 250 for several years. I refinish furniture and use it almost every week. It is easy to clean and works great. However, I snapped my pick-up tube and can't find a replacement part anywhere. I really don't want to have to buy another entire unit, but not even on this site do they have spare parts.

Loved using this but can not find air filter

I bought this today and used it for staining my deck. I absolutely loved it. The job was done in an hour and usually has taken 4 or more hours with a brush! The clean up took longer than the job did. I would give it 5 stars except for the fact that I can not find a replacement air filter for it. The filter got stain all over it.

Saves time compared to a brush but leaks

I bought the 250 a couple of weeks ago and was using it to apply a thin oil penetrating stain to the vertical surfaces on my large deck. Good: It saved a lot of time compared to a brush and had much less overspray and fogging than my airless sprayer. Bad: Each time I turned it off to refill the material container, a bunch of stain dripped down the outside it around its perimeter.

Sent Used Opened Box, Still Paint in it!

Ridiculous! Sent a clearly used item that was resealed (bad at that) now I have the headache of returning and waiting for 7a10 days to get my money back. I'm taking my business elsewhere from now on. Unacceptable.

This paint sprayer lays down so smooth. Our doors and cabinets look professional refinished.

Not great for cabinets

If you are looking for a sprayer to paint your cabinets, get the Graco Truecoat 360 instead. I went with the Wagner first because of all the positive reviews, but when it came to painting my oak cabinets, it did not deliver. I used this sprayer for the back of my cabinets and got ok results. I used Benjamin Moore Advance. There was a good amount of orange peel and quite a few microbubbles. I recently bought this gun but after reading the specs it says not for use with acrylic paint. Has anybody used acrylic paint?

Awesome tool

I'm a nurse so I'm not a professional painter, however, I do like to take on different projects around the house. I sprayed my fence that was completed in little time using the Wagner spray. My fence look professionally done I love it. Clean up was a breeze also, would definitely recommend this product.

Worked great...

Bought it for some small house projects. Used it twice and cleaned it very thoroughly each time. Went to use it, and it is leaking out of the trigger and the cup. Had less than a year.

Time and money saver!

I was always told you can use a weed sprayer to apply stain. Don’t waste your time! I spent 2 hours with a weed sprayer and a brush and got about 24 feet of a 6’ tall fence stained. Decided to try this little sprayer and it took 4 hours to do the remaining 180’ on both sides plus my little 4’ picket fence. And it made the stain go much further. Well worth the money! Wish I’d bought it for my last home install!

I used it to paint my shop and it did what it is suppose to do. I believe it probably saves paint by making your coat more even and thinner coverage.

Help, Sprayer leaks

I had mine for about two months and it works with amazing results. Today I was using and paint started leaking out where the trigger connects to the sprayer. Paint all over me and my driveway. i cleaned twice and still leaks. Can you help please?

Great product!

Bought a spray gun for my compressor and it was pretty shabby at best. Went to lowes to try this and hands down night and day thus thing works perfect and the clean up 5 mins! Dont waste your money on anything else

As Advertised

Great for detail work especially deck spindles and floor. Need to have little wind when working outside. Otherwise great product.
