Wagner control spray 250

It does ok but it could be better. I see all the ads telling about the movable paint pickup and when you go to the store all the models have fixed paint pickups so that is confusing. I would like to see it put out more paint as the spray is kind of light and if you forget to turn it on it blobs paint and that's unfortunate. I personally expected a heavier spray of paint like you get with a pressure sprayer so that is why I am taking one star off. The adjustment doesn't seem to make much differen...

Great with latex paint

I painted 2 steel doors with latex paint. I had an older Wagner sprayer but this is a much better design. I was able to spray without as much thinning

maybe for a small project

I hate painting....HATE it. needed to paint my gameroom. the guy at Lowes recommended this one. I had a towel ready for the tip getting clogged, per a couple reviews. got 15ft of wall sprayed and it started to clog. tried wiping it with a towel and with mineral spirits and it was still sputtering chunks of paint everywhere. started to roll the paint and it took way less time with a roller for the remaining 45ft of wall than it did to spray the 15ft. where I sprayed, it looked like stripes...

Very nice paint sprayer.

This is recommended for small jobs...furniture, etc. but I like it for painting interior walls. Anything larger would be too heavy for me.

Good for the money

Works well, cheaper than similar unit at Harbor Freight. Handle gets hot during prolonged use. Wish the paint canister was larger, must refill frequently. Overspray can be an issue, just be aware and cover non painted areas well. Do wish the nozzle had more range of adjustment. Overall, good unit for the money and makes quick work vs brushing.

Works well

Used this sprayer to spray my porch with solid, white stain. I wanted it to try to save time, instead of brushing. After 2 Coates it looked good. And it saved a lot of time

Easy to use.

We were applying water sealer with a pump up sprayer - fail. I went to Lowe's and bought this handy little sprayer. Worked well. I just wished the reservoir was bigger....we were applying water sealer to a privacy fence. Would buy again.

Very Nice sprayer!

I have been painting for years, mostly furniture. I have never liked the idea of cleaning paint sprayers and although I bought a Chinese made paint sprayer last year, I ended up taking back next day: I could never get the paint to come out evenly and wasted more paint than doing it by hand, so many adjustments! This year I purchased the Warner 250 and let me tell you, I spray painted a six foot shelving unit (primed and paint) and couldn’t believe the nice quality look of it. I am in Love! ...

caused more trouble than it was worth

A professional painter used this sprayer to stain my fence. The fence ended up with splotchy, uneven coverage so the team had to go back over everything with brushes. The painter said he wished he had just used brushes and rollers from the start. Also, the sprayer uses about 2x more paint/stain than you will use with brushes. Keep that in mind when estimating how much paint to buy!
