Does the job on decks and fences. Love the adjustable nozzle with a circle pattern for spindles! Better then expected!

Only ok for trim work ! Minimal coverage and maximum overspray. Get a quality sprayer instead of this

Useful for DIY furniture/cabinet painting

I recently painted my dated kitchen and bathroom cabinet. Primer, water-based latex paint, PU finish. I used brush and roller for cabinet body, used this sprayer for doors and drawer faces. Using sprayer gets factory made like result and saves much much more time! It works well on primer, latex paint even PU finish.

dont waste your time or money

This thing was great on its first run. However afterward it kept clogging up regardless of how much i attempted to thin the paint. Its cheaper in the short run but expensive in the long run because you have to buy other products to finish the paint job 2/2 to the sprayer clogging and you having to stop to unclog it every 5 min. To sum it up at best; its awesome in theory but fails to deliver. I would have gladly spent the extra 200-300 for a product to deliver had i known the experience i was go...

splotching and rough coverage

Bought this to paint multiple rooms and doors. No matter what pattern i set it to, or how well i clean it. i still get an inconsistant rough texture. I thin the paint and still no better results. There is a lot of overspray and it feels underpowered. Save yourself the headache and money and invest in a higher quality sprayer.

Frustrated

Bought one used it with stain everything turned out great. Need it to apply latex paint did.about 75' of wall and it started spitting. Cleaned it no better. Went back got another one pluse the special cleaner. Worked great for about 30' of wall. Watched videos on how to thin the paint cleaned it over and over called Wagner and was told I picked the wrong gun for the project. Now the box said it would do latex paint. Would not recommend. Clogs to easy.and will frustrate you.whe it acts up.

Best paint sprayer I've used

I have only used 3 other sprayers but this one is easiest to use and clean. We painted our kitchen cabinets and drawers - worked perfectly.

Follow Directions, Works Great!

I bought this product to re-stain an old deck and couldn’t be happier. The sprayer worked well to get into all the spaces a paint brush or roller struggles to cover, not to mention is was a much quicker application process.

Wish I Would’ve Purchased Sooner

I started to stain my fence using a stain pad and it was very tedious. Upon returning to Lowe’s for more stain, an employee recommended this sprayer. I was hesitant, but once I got home and began using it, I was amazed at how well it worked! We were able to get a large portion of my fence done in just a few hours. My only complaint is that you have to refill it pretty often. Highly recommend this! Don’t waste your time with brushes or rollers.

I was so happy to get this sprayer. I read all the reviews, read all the instructions and watched several videos before I started so I would not make any mistakes. I used alkaline paint and thinned it with turpentine which was the suggested thinner for this paint. I did my practice runs before I started. Sprays even and quick

I absolutely loved how you can change the nozzle depending on what and how you were spraying. And easy to clean afterwards!!

Thinning is probably not required

Works as advertised, and the instructions are correct: "thinning of material should only be done as a last resort; adjustment of the sprayer's controls should be able to handle any material being sprayed without having to use a thinning agent." I've used it for a thick latex paint, and I didn't have to thin it with water...it sprayed my project with ease--no thinning needed. Wagner 250 paint sprayer

Just bought the Control 250 sprayer yesterday.Fired it up today to paint some lattice with solid body stain. It worked great! Covered great with very good control. Clean up was a breeze. If I had tried to paint it with a brush it would have taken two days. I completed the job in 2hrs and 15 minutes including set up and cleanup! Very happy with this product.

Time Saver!

I had to strip, clean, and seal my 16' x 24' deck. The first stain & seal a couple years ago had wore off rather quickly, after trying my best using a roller and a brush. This time around I decided to upgrade to a sprayer and went with the Wagner Control Spray 250. I used an oil-based, clear sealant and sprayed & back brushed. It went so smoothly!
