Would RecommendThe big mixer I had, my big drill couldn't handle it (started smoking). My little one (more suitable for one gallon paint) wouldn't do. This one was perfect for my 5 gal mud and looks like it will do better on 5gal paint. I think it could be designed to clean easier (without leaving as much mud on the blades)

I'm using this for mixing 50-lb bags of leveling compound in 5-gal buckets. Once all the dry mix is incorporated into the water, this moves it really well and breaks down all the remaining clumps quickly. It manages to do that without slinging the contents of the bucket around so much that they slosh out. It also doesn't try to spin the bucket.
