If I could give it zero stars I still would say that’s too high. Didn’t remove any paint at all. Temp was 70degrees and the deck was shaded. Let it on for at least 20 minutes to give it a little more time. Would have had better results scraping by hand.

Don't buy

Did not work, after two applications ylthe old stain was only half gone.

It works if you increase the time

We were stripping paint on a deck and it didn't work very well. Don't follow the directions. Instead of 15 minutes, lather it on thick and wait about 45 minutes.

Nothing as long as you follow the directions.

Terrible product

I bought this stripper to remove a transparent stain from a deck. The stain is about 8 years old. I applied it with a pump sprayer and do to it being thick I then rolled it with a paint roller. I waited 15 min and hosed it off with garden hose. The only area that it worked was where the spray sat for the few min before I rolled it. I tried two bottles worth with the same result. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Buying this was a mistake, it does not remove anything let alone fast.

Was Impressed

I grab a bottle of Benjamin Moore deck stripper and it did not do a thing so I tried this on the deck and everything that was worn from sun exposed came off real easy. If you have furniture blocking areas you will need to do it 2 or 3 times since the expose isn't work off

Easy to use

More work than you're bargaining for

I got this to strip FRESH stain after deciding we did not like the color as much as we thought we would. It took multiple applications and still did not remove it all.

I was skeptical

I was skeptical from the start, and my first test run on a scrap piece of stained wood didn't work at all, but I eventually figured out the technique. Its removes most of the stain, but you sill still need to do some sanding to get the rest

Effective

I used this wood stripper on a privacy fence around my outdoor shower, and it worked swiftly. The application was easy and smooth. It had a strong odor, but that's to be expected. It was effective in getting the job done and prepared my fence well for a different stain I plan to use.

Don't waste your money or time. This product shows no signs of working. The best result that I got was slightly brighter old paint. Very disappointed.
