I purchase, configured, tested, installed and return this item on November 15, 2020. It worked great in the same room.The listed range for the door bell buttons was 50 feet, but mine could not penitrate the walls of the house and connect to the ringer 20 feet away. I had a Zenith system I purchased 20 years ago, distributed by the same company, that worked great.

Simple, Super Solution
Would RecommendI line in a senior community with NO street in front of the homes, only at the rear of the homes. So, deliveries are made to the rear of the home where the garage is located. But, the property is fenced so that you cannot walk from the back to the front(Security reasons). I placed this Doorbell Button next to my garage door opener pin pad. Now, friends, delivery drivers, whoever, can "ring" me from the back. Works WONDERFULLY!!!
