Would RecommendThe push button is a little stronger than the predecessor, which broke apart. Simple installation with a screwdriver. Plug it in and go. Yes it requires an electrical outlet.

Would RecommendSuper easy to install and it works fine. Only complaint is that the instructions included are not model-specific so some things do not apply to this particular model. Changing chimes is done by setting a jumper - could be much easier with minimal investment.
