Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The pressure relief valve is a reliable and affordable replacement part for a water heater. Many customers found it easy to install, with a good fit and no issues. The valve worked as expected to stop leaks, though some had to make a second trip to get the right size, so careful measurement is recommended. Overall, the valve appears to be a quality product that resolves common water heater problems.

There will be tears
Would Not RecommendBought this as a replacement for a replacement for a brand new water heater. New water heater leaked 5 gallons a day. Company sent a voucher for replacement valve, it leaked 5 gallons a day. Bought another out of pocket, it leaks 5 gallons a day. Valves are rated @ 150 psi and 210 degrees, not even close. Had to buy an adapter to run a garden hose to sump hole. In 59 trips around the sun I've never seen such p👁️ss poor quality control.
DIY for the win
Would RecommendExact replacement for my 10-year-old WH. Happy to do the swap and avoid repair visit.

Continued leaks from the temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve, after the T&P valve has been replaced can only be caused by over pressu...
Two tries and still leaks
Would Not RecommendI bought one to replace a leaking one on my water heater when cleaning it out didn't help. It had some kind of defect in the spring mechanism that caused it to spray out from under the lever. I got another one and it still has a slow leak through the valve even though I have both thermostats set to their minimum temperature. It fills up a 5-gal bucket in about 3 weeks, so it is slow, but I would really like 0 flow through the pressure release valve unless it's an emergency.

Continuing the have leaks out of the temperature and pressure (T&P) valve after replacement indicates the problem is not with the T&P valves....
JUNK
Would Not RecommendReplaced as a warranty 6 months ago on a AO Smith water heater. New one failed in 6 months.
Having the same issue in such a short period indicates the temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve is not the problem.
