Easy install / nice and bright

If you have canned bulbed lights and want LED without having to hardwire, then these are perfect. Unscrew old bulb, screw these into socked, change to whatever color/brightness you want, push the spring clips in and your done. 1 minute install. These should last a long time. Easy somple project that makes a difference, especially if you replace a few. You will notice the difference.

I love these retro fit lights

I love these retro fit lights for lamp and alternative light projects, they have a lower profile than a traditional lamp light socket fixture, I haven't used them in the traditional light replacement purposes

Due to the heat in the kitchen from my original 10 ceiling lights, I had all those lights changed to LED lights. It was worth the initial cost and continues to be worth the cost to replace them—in about 10 years only 3 have required replacement.

It fits right in.

It's a perfect match for the lights that were put in our kitchen 5 years ago. It worked as soon as I put it in. Easy to install. Second one I've bought (for another location in the kitchen) and that one continues to work fine.

Lights are too small for standard sized cans

I previously wrote a review and received an email saying Lowes responded and it does not appear that my review was published as that response could not be located. I purchased these lights on 4/14 to replace existing lighting. What I noticed is that the ring on these lights do not cover the lip of the can and are short by 1/8" See my photos posted and the text on each photo to clearly illustrate the issue. I would not recommend these cans and I would suggest getting Halo replacements instead...

Trim is short 1/8" around

I purchased these 4" retrofit lights for my kitchen. I removed the old trim (major brand name company) and after installing the replacements I noticed that the Utilitech trim is short by 1/8" all around. This is exposing the metal trim of the can making it look bad. The trim should cover the entire can and as you can see from the photos comes up short. In addition, the original trim's groove around it is slightly deeper hiding the cans better when it is installed. The replacement should be ...

I bought this LED can light retro conversion kit because it is so simple to install and it completely covers the can light opening in the ceiling.

The product was easy to remove from the packaging. The directions were a little bit "sparse" but still not too difficult to figure out. It was easy to install except that it didn't fit my can light. So I'll be returning it.

No buzzing noise. Nice lights.

I used these to replace some Feit led can lights that I had purchaaed at Costco. The feit lights had a buzzing noise. These new lights are entirely quiet. Great price too.

The spring clips used to install trim to recessed housings are not attached to trim. installer needs to attach then using screws.... triples time required for installing....25 year electrician.
