Dramatic improvement and simple installation

Excellent product. Dramatic improvement to our kitchen's previous can lights. In all ways better than before. Also a very simple installation. Buy these.

Great upgrade lighting.

Need to seal the ceiling opening. The LED fixture completely sealed the hole to prevent wasp from building nest inside. Had an adapter to allow screwing the new LED light into the existing bulb socket. You may select the color of white light. Lighting is great for the front porch. Installed 3 new LED lights into the existing fixtures.

Excellent retrofit light replacement

I use this retrofit LED lamp that is adjustable and dimmable to replace a standard lightbulb for a can light in the living room. It’s fits really well and flush to the ceiling and has several options to choose from warm to bright white it is a overall quick to install and easy retrofit.

The light was great, clamps broke

I have mixed feelings about this light. The light it’s was great. It had multiple light temp colors to choose from, from cool to warm and easy to change, however to retro fit the light in to the hole was a mess. The clamps weren’t grabbing on the the inner can. We tried to extend them and then clamps just broke off. We wound up not using it unfortunately.

Remodeler 4in Can light

this is a great small light for our basement. I wanted to switch to LED cans but wanted to makes sure it was powerful enough so this was a test item and worked great. I liked the fact that I could adjust the light color to match the other lights in the area.

So so being bright

Requested this recessed lights it was supposed to be a 5 pack but only received 1 of 5. The one that I did receive the packaging was in pretty fough shape. So I ended up buying 4 more for the 4 I was short. They do install easily with the tension bars. They have 5 different light settings a plus. I didn't notice any difference between the different light settings they all seem have the same brightness

Retrofit recessed light

Nice product made with quality materials. Easy to install. The attached clips (2) are very sturdy. The attached wiring is long enough to make the install easy. Light provides a clean look and doesn’t require a separate light bulb. The actual light area is 4” and the entire width is approx 5.5” . The color adjust easily with a switch.

LED Recessed Light for Extra Headroom

I replaced an existing 60-watt Incandescent light fixture with the Utilitech 850 -Lumens LED Recessed Downlight. This unit required a "non-IC” rated bracket (purchased from Lowes) to mount properly. Great upgrade — super easy install

Great upgrade — super easy install If you can change a lightbulb, you can install this. Took me less than 5 minutes. The light looks clean and modern, and it’s up to code for use over a bathtub. A solid, hassle-free upgrade.

Do not hold up, spring mechanism fails

Purchased these because other bulbs were too bright. They succeeded at not being too bright, but from day 1 these never sat up flush to the ceiling. Over time the plastic mounts that attach to the springs failed on several and others just drooped from the weak springs giving out. See photos for both failures. In the end trashed all six of these within a few months.

This was the right light that I needed. I lost money ordering it online and had to pay shipping charges to return them

Terrible product

I bought the 925 lumen version of this product and it is outstanding but little to bright if you don't have dimmers. I bought the 650 lumen version for several locations but the torsion springs on these are different. The springs have almost no pull and have a shape that won't let the light reach the ceiling. I switched them all to 925 lumen version and will buy dimmers.
