Works 5% of the time after one month.

I spent $69, for an expensive LED light on the front porch, that only works 5% of the time. The red sensor light flashes red when motion is detected but the light won't come on. I have tried to reset the assembly by turning the power switch off for 10 minutes and then turn it back on - no effect. The cheaper, but uglier, halogen motion lights I bought the same day active every time. Save your $$$ and go ugly.

Absolute Garbage

Firstly, the sensor does not work in temperatures close to freezing and below. The light will come on and stay on. So you better live in S. Florida or S. California if you are considering this. Second, even at the right temperatures the light does not go on and off reliably, regardless of following the suggestions in the manual for adjustment. This thing is just absolute garbage. Not for Wet Location

Lowes advertised this as outdoor security light. Works very bright, but a had two failures in less than a year. In tiny writing on ballast it states "Dry and damp location use only". Whats the point of an OUTDOOR security light if it cannot be rained on. Ballast got wet and shorted out. If you want warranty to replace it, I has to be sent back to factory, resulting in a now open junction box exposed to weather for the time it will take for replacement. Easy install Super bright and love the motion sensor

JUNK

Will not come on if you walk up beside the wall which mounted. It is NOT dusk to dawn, or it will not work that way motion activated is junk. Price too high for junk. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Now have to pay electrician to take it down and now have to find one that works!

NOT GOOD

Bought 3 of these light at 60 dollars a piece put them in worked for 2 days then stopped working the sensors started to make a grinding noise lights acted like a strobe light then would not come back on going back to lowe's tomorrow to find something new.

Poor sensor performance

Have had this item in place for about 4 weeks and it has never worked properly. Tried every adjustment recommended by manufacturer. The motion sensor only activates on one extreme end of the 180 degree design standard. Will return item to Lowe's today.

Two lights failed

Just had my second light fail. I have the light eve mounted. After the first big rain the lights filled with water and when it would sense motion it would come on for a minute then flash every 3 seconds or so non stop. I returned it and got a second one. Looked up today after we've had some snow and melt. Lights are full of water again and will not turn on. This unit is eve mounted and not exposed to direct water yet it has filled twice. Very durable

I accidently dropped the light while installing it. It dropped about 8 feet onto my concrete driveway. After looking it over it appeared to be intact so I finished the install and to my surprise it works great. It is very bright and does as advertised. My only complaint are the control nobs are confusing and a bit too sensitive.

Took old light down, put new light up. Its that simple works great.

2 Week Life

Nice looking light, easy install, but only lasted 2 weeks. Mounted under eave, not a lot of rain during this time, and no real reason for it to fail. The motion sensor seemed to work fine, and the dual lighting modes worked as well, but one day it just failed. Of course I threw out the box, so returning it isn't an option now. I guess I'm out $60 with a lesson learned. Just say no to this light, and Utilitech in general is my advice.

Good but can't adjust angles much

I own 12 of these and they work good. The first 4 I bought were very adjustable but then they changed the design and you can barely adjust the angle. Great value light. None have given me an issue.

BAD BAD BAD Product!!

Bought these light on July 4th weekend last year from local Lowe's and they are not working six months later. I am a typical homeowner and installed them myself and they worked fine for 6 months. Not worth the prize, not worth the hassle.

Great light

I was sceptical about the led lights I'm more of a traditional flood light person but these lights are very bright and very white I am extremely satisfied with these and thinking about adding some on the other sides of my house.

Disappointment

I installed the light in August and it stopped working at the beginning of January with no warning: no flickering or other signs. I saw some reviews which noted the unit is not appropriate for cold weather..evidently they were correct. It was terrific while it worked but for only 4 months?
