Would RecommendMy original doorbell stop working and I got a ring doorbell and it would not come on. I went in my crawl space found my doorbell transformer and realized it wasn't putting out enough voltage. Replaced with the purchase doorbell transformer and configured for 24 volts and ring doorbell worked just great. It probably could have worked if I had configured it for 16 volts. This replaced a 10 year old unit that failed when I installed a new Ring doorbell. It is variable voltage which gives you some flexibility when upgrading to new electronic doorbells.
