Good light for the money

I bought (4). Pretty nice light for the money. Very quiet. The big problem I have with light kit is with the "S" hooks to attach the light to the chains...they don't fit the light causing a really poor connection between the two. Glad I had hooks available from some former lights, otherwise I would have made my own connecting fasteners. The reflecting shield could be a little bigger, but otherwise a good light.

They do the job

I got six for my two car garage. They come with a five foot cord coming out one end, two 8 - 10 inch chains and two little hooks for wood. The hooks are too short to hit a beam through drywall. I got bigger hooks, hung them, twisted in some T12 bulbs and we have light. I have only had them for a week but decent home quality. I had some years ago with the ballasts built into the ends of the fixture and they all fried within a year. Don't get them. These have a more conventional ballast inside. Ex...

Simple/Quality/Value

I bought one of these, and will now go buy at least 3 more for my garage. Super easy to hang up. Nothing technical at all, with the exception of knowing which bulbs to buy. And a tremendous value!

Good light

Normal light for the price. Works better than older models. Lights better in a cold garage.

These lights are the best I have used. They are sturdy Painted well. Work well. Almost no sharp edges. I purchased these for the purpose of converting them to LED lights. They converted easily and with the LED replacement tubes, give a very good light, especially for a carport or workshop. Now they are even more energy efficient.

Good shop light

I needed some lights and the price was perfect. They work great and give plenty of light with 32 watt bulbs. One note... I bought 4 of them and 1 didn't work, so I had to exchange it. The exchange went well with the mylowes program. I would recommend that program as well.

Sharp Edges

I cut my finger when I brushed against the razor sharp top edge of the lamp reflector.when I opened the box.

Ready to Hang

Unlike some low cost fixtures, this one comes complete and ready to hang. I'm gradually replacing one from a big box store with these. These last and the others didn't.

OK light. First one was DOA

This is your basic 2-tube 4-ft fluorescent shop light. The shroud over the bulbs is barely wider than the two bulbs themselves, which means that there is less light reflected down. I didn't notice this until I hung the light next to my older shop lights that had wider shrouds. Not a big deal for me, but something to be aware of depending on your application. Extra light

We needed some additional light in our garage and purchased two of the lights. After installed, the first one worked perfectly, but the other one came on for a second and then went out. Each time I plugged it in, the light would come on for a second, and then go back out. Took back to the store and got it replaced, installed it, and had no problems with the replacement.

I used this light in my garage because it was reasonably priced. Turns out that it's really easy to install. I opted to the flush mount. So a little more installation was needed. But all in all for the price and quality. I'd recommend it. Only reason I don't give it a 5 is that it doesn't have the flush mount installation guide. good for the price, could be better.

First two I bought, only one has worked well out of the box. If its taped don't by it. Had to return one, due to not working. Otherwise ,the other so far has been working well. Would be better if it had the pull string. That way its not getting a surge every time it's plugged in.

Lightweight

I ordered four (4). One came with a small bend in the metal. I straightened it by hand, functionally no problem.

It's a shop light.

It's a shop light. They don't change. They're all pretty much the same so I bought them based on the price.
