Reasonably priced shop light

I still purchase this type light as its the same as the rest of shop Less money to replace fixture than replace ballast

Shop light

We bought the 4 foot shop light and LED bulbs and put it above our pepper bedding plants. Works wonderful. Plan on buying another one for the tomatoes.

Good lights. Low cost!

Purchased 4 lights to install in basement. Installed easy. Very bright. And they didn't cost too much.

Nice shop light, but no chains as shown

Nice shop light, shows the fixture has chains so I buy three, get home now I have to drive 15 miles each way to get the chains to hang them up, guess my real project will have to wait...

Get what you pay for!

Bought 2 of these in mid January. By end of February I had to take one back due light quit working. 2 weeks later the other quit working. Thankfully Lowes was great and gave money back with no questions asked. Horrible light, great customer service at Lowes.

Worked great

I replaced my old "buzzing" lights with these and they work great. They're much lighter than the old ones and were easy to install.

Garage Light

Every other light I purchased for my garage came with bulbs. This did not which if I had read more carefully I would have realized

Utilitech Linear Shop Light

These lights have bad ballasts. They quit working after little use.

Great Shop Light Deal

I have a small breezeway that was a dangerously dark space between the house and the utility room. This light fixture was a prefect solution. I came complete with a plug-in cord and a hanger kit of light chain and hooks. The problem was solved and very simply. I just wish I had realized that the hanger kit was in the box before I spent more on hooks and chains at the hardware store than the fixture cost!

Perfect outdoor work light

We need good light at our administration area during evening swim meets. This light is perfect. We hung it under our ez ups over our desks and laptops, using a work lamp.

great light

installed 2 of these in my basement between the floor rafters and now it is lit up like day time down there! plus you can't beat the price!!

good value

This shop light has a off-on pull-chain which works well. The hanging feature: a chain and hooks does the job. Watch out though .... this light does not come with bulbs. The required bulb number is printed on the carton. Overall this light does the job at a good price. Best practice: open the box and check contents, also look for damage.

no problem once bulbs are in correct

Nice cheap 2 bulb unit that works great. I did find out that if the bulbs are not installed correctly or seated firmly the unit will not work (for me they tripped the GFCI outlet). If you move the bulbs to much while the unit is powered on it will stop working or trip your GFCI outlet.

These are inexpensive and easy as pie to put up. Just screw in the hooks, attach the chains, put in some T12s and plug 'em in.

Cheap lighting for the shop

These lights are great. They are cost effective lighting and they work fine. Just one note you need to use the 40 watt T12 bulbs. The manual notes you are not to use the 34 watt T12 bulbs. So when buying bulbs make note to get the correct ones. Also, I would suggest not using there is cold environments, I am sure they will flicker and burn out the ballast in short order.

Good price, bad performance

This light works, but, after about a minute, the 20 amp arc fault breaker in my circuit panel trips. This is totally unusable in my shop. I have another fluorescent light on the same circuit with no problem until I plug in this light.

Worst purchase ever

The first two I bought didn't work so exchanged them. The first one I took out of the box and put bulbs in, worked for a few seconds. Going to buy new bulbs to see if that is the problem but don't recommend this brand.
