Cheaper than buying a new ballast...

Since our kitchen fixture is 20+ years old, I was in need of replacing the 2 ballasts again. Even though we are in the process of designing a complete lighting remodel in the kitchen with recessed cans, we needed a quick fix for this outdated fluorescent fixture. Does the job

This is a decent shop light for the price. I ended up returning because I was mounting under a shelf to light up a workbench, and since the light doesn't have a cover I was afraid I may break one of the exposed bulbs. No switch, just plug and go.

Nice Inexpensive Light

Looks nice and works nice. I bought 16 of them. 2 issues: (1) the hooks to hang the light so so cheap that 2 of them crack apart screwing them into wood even with pre-drilling the holes (2) One light was missing all the parts included.

Great fixture, works well in the cold

For an economy fixture, this unit can't be beat. I bought two and put them in my 12x16 shed and they light it up really well. The only thing I would add is a 3/4" hole or slug on either end of the cover plate to facilitate flush mounting to a 2x4. I drilled them myself easily enough but I had to check for wires and hardware inside the fixture first.

Good Value

Purchased 2 to replace units in the garage that had failed. These work well the only drawback was the spacing of the chains is narrower than the lights I was replacing. The former has the chains at the outer end of the fixture, the new lights have the chains a good foot in from the end, meaning they would not hang from the same rafters I had mounted the previous lights from. Basic and Functional

These fixtures provide a safe and functional means to light my unfinished basement. A big improvement to the single light bulb fixtures they replaced.

Good light for the money

Purchased this for additional light in my garage/shop. It was easy to hang, and produced a good amount of light. I would buy this one again.

Repeat purchase

Basic, inexpensive shop light. I've bought these before, so I know that they aren't fancy. They are solidly built, and will serve the function that I purchased them for (grow light's on a seed shelf). I don't know if I'll be buying more, since I don't have room for any more seed shelves.... Maybe some for the garage.

Easy To Install

I am very pleased with this light. It was easy to install and came with the hardware needed to hang it. The bulbs were not included, but it states that on the package.

Nice little light fixture but....

My old one was hard wired in with 14/2 Romex wire. This light comes with a pre-wired 3-prong plug with about a 36" (??) pigtail. THERE ARE NO KNOCK OUTS ON THE FIXTURE BODY. I had to install a new outlet box (with the 14/2) to plug the light into. The light tubes are tight in the small cavity that encases them. Basically a mistake

It was not designed to be installed as I wanted, although I was able to modify it and make it work. When I bought it I thought it would work the way I wanted. My mistake, not the maufacturers.

Just what I needed

I needed a quick light to hang over my plants for the winter. The only issue I had was the cord was a bit too short to reach down to the typical wall outlet (close to the baseboards) but in a workshop that probably won't be an issue.

Outstanding product. Replaced very old shop light that I couldn't get a new ballast for. longer cord was great too.
