LED replacement for flourescent tube bulbs

I had purchased a different national brand and wanted to give these a try. At half the price for twice the bulbs. You get what you pay for. Out og the 4 bulbs I could only get one to work. So I return them and purchased the two pack of national brand that actually worked.

The led lights have brightened my garage immensely. It makes working in it so much better.

SAID ON BOX THAT LIGHTS WOULD WORK WITH MOST BALAST. I TRIED IT WITH 3 DIFFERENT ONES AND WOUL NOT WORK.

Works good

Fits in t8 fixture. Take the florescent tube out and put led tube in. You have to make sure you install it with the led strip towards the reflector or you will see a dark strip down the length of it.

Good for the price

I bought these for a 4 tube T-8 fixture in a garage. Perfect fit. Work well

Found this to come up short on the color of their output. Cool white looked like the warm white to me. If you want a white light output. Get the GE daylight LED tubes.

They pay for themselves in a few months!

These work great! I swapped out my old 40W bulbs for these 14W LEDs in my kitchen ceiling fixture which takes all 4 bulbs. I had long ago upgraded the fixture with an electronic ballast when the old linear one blew out. The 5000K "Cool white" is far whiter and brighter at much less the cost to run. This fixture is on about 14 hrs a day so at $0.08/KWH they pay for themselves in less than 4 months! Lowes had a sale for $9.99 what a great buy. Even better with my 5% Lowes card discount!

These work with electronic ballasts

Before you buy these, you need to find out if you have electronic or magnetic rapid start ballasts. These will probably not work with magnetic ballasts! As a wise man said “If it hums, it is magnetic” T-12 fixtures probably came with magnetic ballasts but if you see lots of wire nuts, it could be a replacement ballast. T-8 fixtures probably came with electronic ballast. Very attractively priced, not much more than what I might expect to pay for the same number of T-8 florescent tubes. More lume...

Didn't work - times two

Installed these in closet. Worked once then never again. Returned for another set. Same thing.

Looked good but didn't work for me

The bulbs appeared to be good quality but didn't work in my fixtures. Most likely a ballast issue. I didn't take the time to confirm that it was the ballasts. This purchase was to allow dependable lighting in a cold garage. I would by this again once I determine if it was the ballast or something else.

LED Replacement for 4' Florescent Tubes

I purchased these to replace the florescent tube lights in my garage. These work great and are instant on. When it's cold, they still pop right on which is far better than the florescent tubes they replaced which come on slowly in cold weather.

Big Improvement

Bought 4 to replace old burned out flourescent tubes. No changes needed to fixture, just remove old bulbs and install new ones. Brighter, cheaper, instant on, hopefully no dimming issues in cold garage, hopefully longer lasting.

I purchase 4 pk of bulbs when I got home I realized I had LED bulbs, I put them in and I thought I had flood lights they were great.
