Failed after one year of use

had product for only one year and now the bladder has failed inside and we will have to replace it with a new one wish they still had the old tanks the lasted so much longer and is alot better

Non stock at local store

Had to travel to store 50 miles away because local store did not stack.. Easy installation!

fourth one I've purchased because Lowes no longer cares the 25 gallon one that has out lasted the four 20 gallon ones

It does what it is supposed to.

I had to redo my whole well system. The pump, pressure tank, pressure switch and gauge. I also added a water softener, ultraviolet disinfecting light and filter. Overall, I am very pleased with how well everything is working. The guys in the plumbing dept at Lowe's were a huge help.

Great purchase.

Good Tank for the money

I am young just starting out and don't have a lot of money so I drilled my own well 135ft and installed a 3/4 hp submersible pump from Lowes with this 36 gallon pressure tank. I have had the tank for almost a year now with no problems. If I remember correctly I had to add some air to the tank to get the pressure just right but other than that it was an easy set up. Unforchantly I drilled my well in a bunch of Iron, which surprisingly has not affected the performance of the tank, yet… so that is ...

Don't do it.

It failed immediately. My first clue should have been that it wasn't pre-charged properly. Thinking it was maybe a factory oversight, I charged it myself to 2 psi below pump switch kick-in. I left it for about an hour to make sure it held the charge,which it did, so I decided to go ahead and install it. Within 12 hours my pump was cycling on and off at 3-5 second intervals. I drained it and checked the charge at the valve stem; it was a baffling 50psi! Nearly double the amount of the original ch...

Disappointed.......

First tank purchased had a faulty bladder, would not hold the air pre-charge. Lowe's exchanged the item with no problem. Replacement pressure tank started leaking after 48 months. This is not a quality product that I expect from Lowe's.

I purshased this tank to replace and exsisting unit that was many years old. The fittings were a match and adjstments were minimal so it installed quickly.

Weak bladder

I thougt I was getting a good value by buying a lower cost alternative from lowes but this meant I had to replace it within 2 days because the bladder had blown.To avoid problems like this don't trust the "preset -precharged" pressure

poor design

Bought this tank in 09 and the bladder failed less than 2 yrs later. Thank goodness for for the five yr warranty.

serves a purpose, but not that great

the tank came out of the box with surface rust. I would think about getting another product before this one unless you are really on a tight budget.

Poor Quality

I am taking back the 4th tank this year for a customer that had installed it themselves. All were under 3 years old and had bad bladders. I have found no faults in the customers install, the tanks I feel are not good quality internally. I guess that's why they cost less than the ones I buy at my pump supplier!!

Not a quality product

i have had this installed 14 months. We only use during the summer as it supplies outside faucets ony. failed this morning and lost all pressure. would not recomend to anyone.

Quality is poor

Internal water bladder failed eight months after purchase
