Would RecommendI bought this item to connect to flex water lines coming off my hot water heater that required extra length. This part package also states that it reduces corrosion and heat lose. Worked great for me!

not long enough
Would Not RecommendThese are not universal. They cannot be used in the hot water heaters sold at Lowes. The threading is correct but the length of the item is not long enough to clear the insulation on top of hot water heater.

So far so good
Would RecommendJust installed them a few days ago. But they buttoned won nice an tight and I am looking forward to the dielectric feature avoiding the corrosion issue that happened on the ones these replaced.

Met the heeds
Would RecommendThese nipples met the intended purpose. One had a bad starter thread which made it difficult to start however once it got started threaded smoothly. I think the cost should be about 25% less.

Does the trick
Would RecommendVery essential for your water heater if your going to use copper connecting lines. Seem to be pretty good quality.

Nice idea for older hw heaters
Would Not RecommendThe dielectric nipples are a must for the hw installation but new hw heaters come with the heat trap already built in so no need to pay extra. Check your new hw heater first before purchasing.
